This is killing me now. I spent the last 15 minutes googling in vain to try to find a picture of a stealth plane that my old man gave me a matchbox-scale model of back in the 80s or 90s. It was just one huge delta wing with a cockpit, but the wing tips were fully rounded and curved up. As if someone had taken a flat triangle, shaved off the tips of two corners, and just rounded them up.

Actually, I'm wrong, it can't be an RQ-170.  That thing left a twin contrail.  RQ-170 is single engined.

You're probably thinking of the F-19.  It was the alternative to the F-117, but very rounded instead of angled.  Before it was cancelled, it got far enough along that people made models and even a video game about it, and it was in a Tom Clancy novel.

Nah, the one I had would have been worthless in combat. It was recon, or maybe a bomber.

This is the closest I'm finding, except the front was like a B-2, and the wingtips were rounded and curved up for stability.

Wasn't an Avro Vulcan, YB-35, Horten Go 229, or F-19, was it?

/The f-19 game by microprose was fun, back in the day.

Don't suppose you remember the manufacturer? That would make a lot easier to pin down.

Nope, none of those. The thing had no markings whatsoever. I remember constantly getting bored playing with it because it had no hardpoints or interesting flight surfaces. The only thing that made it clear it was a toy plane was the little landing gear on the bottom.

Imagine the thing in this video, but all polished and aerodynamic looking, and without all the bits in the middle. And the wing tips were rounded, no angles anywhere but the nose.

Too low & slow. AURORA is a hypersonic high-altitude craft. This is likely just a next-gen stealth craft.

If it was supposed to be an alternative to the F-117, it would have been a bomber. Contrary to its name, the Stealth Fighter was a bomber.

I could see some odd vortical things happening over a near-delta flying wing that could get you two vapor trails with a single engine.

It was trianuglar, like a stealth bomber... but not a stealth bomber.
