Its true.  Bad teeth is a clear sign that you grew up poor and were raised by parents who didnt think it was a priority.  This tends to directly correlate with your values, habits and wealth as an adult.

A lot of people have heard of salesmen claiming that you judge a potential customer on their shoes... but teeth work as a much better indicator.

Shoes are a good indicator. Everyone can afford a fake Rolex or fake Prada.

And yet, finding someone who didn't grow up with money (bad teeth) who has advanced degrees or lots of experience shows quite the opposite (good priorities, resiliency, and merit without advantage), and is noticed as well.

And they say that social mobility is a myth.

"You look poor. I bet you grew up poor. No job for you. Go be poor somewhere else."

This works both ways, actually: I wouldn't want to work for the kind of worthless shiat-for-brains that thinks someone's teeth have any bearing on their ability to do a job. That person is too stupid to be allowed to live, let alone be responsible for employing other human beings.

Yup, the tooth I had extracted because it sheared in half vertically will tell the world I grew up poor.  Not that I shouldn't have been biting down on a small piece of bone hiding in the ground meat.
