That show was just a pain in the neck anyway.

So what cancelled show are you saddest about? For me it's Almost Human. Thought that one had potential. And they didn't do it any favors by showing the episodes out or order.

Agreed, it's time for some new blood.

So Fox fuked over a decent sci-fi show by airing its episodes out of order?
Where have heard that before?
Hmmm....

I'm also disappointed in that one being cancelled. I thought it had just as much promise as say, The Headless Horseman.

I am saddest about Community though. I really liked looking at Annie's Boobs.

I'm not going to even bother watching Gotham. It sounds exactly like something that I'll love and get pissed off when it's cancelled.

What is a show? A miserable little pile of cancellation!

Dracula was an extremely goofy show. The producers and actors were apparently not aware of this.

2014-05-11 08:25:00 AM
You could tell the show was dying by its coffin,

2014-05-11 08:45:30 AM
The fact that it sucked more than a vampire on a three day blood bender had something to do with its ultimate fate.

That's a shame, I liked it.

On the bright side though, Revolution has been canceled.

Dracula was honestly my favourite new show.
Almost Human took a while for me to warm up to but it had potential for sure.
Community, their final episode kinda felt like they knew they weren't being renewed.
But I felt sad about all three when I heard.
At least Sleepy Hollow is still going, and The 100 has potential if they can drop some of the teen drama crap that is in there since its on the CW.

It's the CW, teen drama is the norm for that channel.

And I have zero interest in Batman Babies...
At best it'll be yet another cop show starring detective Gordon. And who really cares about his stories?

Arrow keeps it pretty reserved though. I'm hoping it can get there.

I actually like Dracula. It could be both out there campy and scary. Meyers made for a good vampire when Dracula went off the rails. It was almost like a spin off of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Though Pennydreadful looks like it may fill this slot. Still, I wanted to see to what would happen when Dracula found out that Helsing was a traitor and what happened to Rinfield.

However, I am going to miss Revolution the most. I like the acting, the dialog, the characters and love how Kripke can create these great blue collar worlds like this and Supernatural. He's even managed to sneak in classic rock/metal songs despite the world being without power. (Bluegrass Black Sabbath songs? Oh, yeah, it's much cooler than it sounds.) (Yes, Abrams started the series with Kripke. But by seasons two, Kripke's fingerprints were all over the show. Even the nanites are starting to take on the traits of his SPN Angels.)

Reign is my guilty pleasure. I know how it will end, and I want to see if they'll go there. Plus, the missus is a Tudorphile.

The 100 is "thank God the Chancellor pardoned the hothead trying to cover up his crimes before said hothead ended up killing humanity in the process" to me

The showrunner said it was no big deal to be shown out of order. Which means there wasn't enough character development to make that affect the episodes... which means they couldn't decide if they wanted their own show to be a serial or a procedural.

I think the show would have caught more viewers with a stronger arc and more plot and character buildup.

For me it's Trophy Wife and Enlisted.  I thought those were the shows with the best potential.

I punched out after they killed the black kid just to make room for the lead girl to get with that douchebag.

Tell her to gird up her loins: the BBC is (finally) filming Wolf Hall as a miniseries, to be followed by Bringing Up the Bodies.

I can't wait! That show is the biggest bunch of crazy nonsense I've seen in a long time. There's no way to take it seriously but it takes itself seriously, which makes it even more hilarious. That's good TV!

Yeah. It's like having a best friend who is a philosopher pothead. You know he's kind of a loser. You know he's constantly wrong but  thinks  he's always awesome. You know he will only disappoint you in the end, but you keep hanging around with him because dammit, he makes you laugh despite yourself.

thankfully, the ratings were anemic enough to cancel that drivel.

Spoiler. Dracula eventually dies.

Glad they canceled Revolution. I loved that show until they went full retard with the killer fireflies.

I felt it made a big difference to show them out of order. The best thing about the show was how the 2 main characters became friends and learned to trust each other. When shown out of order, their relationship was two steps forward-one step back. It didn't make sense.

I watched 3/4 of the first episode before a power outage. When I got it back I wasn't going to sit through it again because NBC disabled fast forwarding.
