I was with two of them in a psychiatric hospital.  They were quiet about it "until."  They were also convinced of the Illuminati.  One became certain that I was a Mason, hushed up, and kept decent conversation from then out.  There was plenty else to talk about.

I sometimes tell people I'm an electrician, but that doesn't shut them up.  I'll try mason next time.

If their point is to prove that gun control is bad because some people just need killing, maybe they're not as dumb as they look.

The only place this idea plays out is with right-wingers, so yeah, probably.

Aren't the 9/11 Truthers sort of left wingers?  If so these nuts all deserve each other.

/but no the victims families don't deserve any of them.

9/11 Truthers are kind of a mixed bag of idiots from the left and the right. Sandy Hook Truthers tend to be from the right, as they believe the purpose of the "false flag" was to allow the government to grab their guns. Regardless, we could round the lot of them up and shoot them into the sun, and nothing of value would be lost.

He's right, it is a hoax. That little girl, 19 of her classmates and 6 adults are working to become world hide-and-seek champions. Those missing Nigerians are competing for it too. Study it out!

roadpuppets: Is a giant photo of your lost little one in garish colors complete with advertising really the memorial you want?  How about a nice not tacky as shiat memorial stone?  How about donating the playpark anonymously.

If Ramses II could have put up giant tacky illuminated selfies of himself all over Egypt, he would have.

It is the technology that has changed, people have always been tacky as hell with monuments.

As I recall, the guy on the scene shooting some of the early Bundy footage also featured one of these Sand Hook truthers on his web "news" program. Nice people. Reasonable.

Repo Man: Artcurus: Wingless: My favourite conspiracy I've ever stumbled onto was a facebook group of 300 + people who believed that not only as Sandy Hook a hoax, but that the school itself never existed.

They had tons of 'evidence' that up until a week prior to the shooting, it was just an empty, government owned warehouse.

They also had records showing that the parents of at least eight of the children at the school were, at some point in their life, actors.

Their belief was that the government dressed a warehouse up like a school, hired a bunch of actors to pretend to be kids and parents, claimed a shooting, and those 'victims' just moved and changed their names.

A quote I'll never forget

"Not a single shot was fired at Sandy Hook. Just a sub-par community theater production passing itself off as a tragedy."

Wingless, a West Texas school district was selling one of their old buildings, it was built in 1946, 31,000 sqf, in the shape of a large "H". It was officially closed as a school in 2004. It had been sitting idle for ten years and the district had been using it for storage.

I had the opportunity to tour the building before the auction, there was unbelievable amounts of  crap it in, stacked to the ceiling in some cases. Lockers, boxes, old tvs, you name it.

The official "Sandy Hook" report showed the interior of the school, and judging from the appearence, the building looked exactly like that closed down West Texas school. The way that things were piled in front of windows, the general clutter throughout the building.

We've got a live one!

Prove me wrong. If you ever been inside fully operational schools, the interior is usually neat and orderly, and that's for safety reasons among other things, Stuff like the boxes piled in front of the windows at SH not just one but all the windows, the complete disarray of the interior,  the desk thrown in piles against the wall, which by the way, would not have happened because they would have to preserve the crime scene as original as possible.

Voting Republican is a good clue, well at least what became of Republicans after then started pandering to the lowest common denominator.

Sigh, the irony reeks like yogapants

Maybe if you washed your yogapants before you iron them, you wouldn't get that smell.

...But I pay good money to get the ones with the smell...

It would be nice, they have a nice organization going.  To make membership, though, you must profess belief in God/a god (no further detail on that req'd), and at present, I don't meet that criteria.  As a psych patient, I think I'm more Odd Fellows material ;)

Marcintosh: living in CT so if you're doubting it then lemme let you in on it.  My firend buried her niece.

Not that people who deny well documented events aren't full of shiat, and I'm sorry for your friend's loss, but let's break it down like a crazy person:

You assert, semi-anonymously, that you live in "CT". There's no way for anyone to verify this. Untrustworthy.

Next, you say that your "firend" buried her niece. It's not you, not even your family, but your friend. That's several steps of removal from the primary, and untrustworthy source, increasing the reasonable doubt. Not mention the lack of why she was buried. Might be unrelated to the incident in question. Untrustworthy.

Then you make a patently false statement like "They don't bury the living this century." despite several verifiable instances in the news where this is in fact the case it happened or almost happened. Untrustworthy.

Verdict: False.

Not that conspiracy theorists are rational people, but they have a philosopher's standard for evidence when it suits them. Meanwhile, they'll accept the word of a friend of a friend of a guy who ate at a McDonald's within 2000 nautical miles of Area 52 once if it feeds their paranoia.

Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende did a series based on just that.  About fifteen years ago.  And it wasn't a ball moving slowly... it was a heavy plastic strap.  And when it hit you, you went down and STAYED down.

American knockoffs of their work always stink.  I reference the "Silent Library" version done by MTV as an example.

I don't watch noMTV

No one I know has ever admitted to me that they think the Sandy Hook attack was a hoax. But anyone who believes that has to be a bit unhinged, whatever their ideology.
