I was invited to one of those years ago. I was very, very sick with the flu. Given 12 hours notice to show up. The promotion outfit was upset with my refusing to show up since driving was an issue for me. Something legal, etc. anyway by my not being able to show up a local charity got a (minor) donation and I agreed to local TV interviews (over the phone, one heard me barf).

That's how the insurance makes their money. They assume the shot will be made by a semi-pro, charge accordingly, then exclude anyone who's played at college level.
