Great, now carrying the Craigslist app on your phone is going to be probable cause for a search - just like the old "carrying a pager"

I have no idea wtf "board shorts" are supposed to be, but anything-tar is going to be black tar heroin, and Roxy's have always been roxicodone, commonly sought after in the USA because they are the only oxycodone pill that doesn't have time-release coatings, anti-crush coatings, or acetaminophen or other additives.

That could just be a smoker's season supply, not a dealer's.  I've had one of those big bags before, and I did not intend to sell any of it.

I think adding board shorts was so they could put the mg as the "size"

I wonder if anyone was actually selling or buying real roofing tar on craigslist and got mixed up in this mess.

I used "coffee" because neither of us drank it.

Pretty sure every Southside Chicago cop knew what 'kush' was, never had to use a code for it. Nor did they care. No slang out there for a cop smelling you smoking up on the front porch and driving by that I know of.

I don't know about any of that. But it sounds like it could happen. Sure.

So the cops found out 420 is a skinhead term ?

Me and my circle of friends used "Bob".

Have you seen Bob around?  Any idea when Bob'll be here? Etc.

Worked well as teens in the 80s since we would have been on a landline and likely within earshot of one or more parent.

Meanwhile, the Silk Road 2.0 and other .onion sites are churning away in the background, where users can order their stuff online, and get it delivered to their mailbox without ever meeting the dealer or leaving an electronic paper trail. Come on, Craigslist? That isn't the wave of the future. It's a bunch of dumb criminals being obvious.

The real question is why people on Craigslist still think they're being subtle by using '420' in personals adds. That's right up there with posting on FB about the illegal stuff you're doing on the stupid meter. Wish the cops WOULD go through the personals and crack down on all the idiots going on about 'mutually beneficial relationships' for soliciting prostitution, because between them, the people who don't understand what NSA is for, and the married people looking to cheat, you can hardly find any actual posts seeking actual dates or relationships.

At least 'roofing tar' and 'Roxy [any plausible garment], size 30' actually blend in to the sales categories, if you don't know to look for them. Although ludicrous prices don't really help with that, sheesh.

Criminals being stupid? You don't say!

Indeed there are some ads for Roxy board shorts nearby for $30. Interesting. There's also one that straight up advertises pharmaceuticals. Click a button and it gives you a phone number to text.

Maybe I'll just have to get a prepaid burner and see what do.

I remember looking for Sid back in the seventies, though now that I think about it, that's pretty obvious...
