Snarfangel: REFRIGERATORS FOR EVERYONE!
Incontinent_dog_and_monkey_rodeo: We're moving fairly quickly towards renewable energy as our main power source. Once that happens, the cost of everything will go down fairly dramatically. Energy scarcity is one of the major limiters in just about every industry, that and clean water, which also becomes much cheaper with abundant electricity.
tricycleracer: Exxxtreme Poverty Alpine Blast is too tangy for me.
UncomfortableSilence: Congratulations, you've graduated to regular poverty. Now that you've made let me be the first to introduce you to your countries first legislation to strip you of any government benefits that may have helped you get here.
pkellmey: We have more obese people in the world than starving to death people, so defining true poverty that everyone understands is a little more difficult.
Ponzholio: If they wanted people's attention, they should have called it-treme Poverty
Rapmaster2000: I was at Wal-Mart last week in the line behind an Indian peasant woman and her eight polio stricken children and they were all wearing brand new Air Jordans and they had really expensive sarees and the newest, nicest crutches and wheelchairs. They had a whole cart filled with steak and lobsters and fenny. I thought they must have been rich, but then she pulled out an EBT card and STOLE like $1000 of my tax dollars. Then I saw them get into a brand new Tata tuk-tuk and drive away. They're probably breaking into song and dance routines on unemployment right now!
WelldeadLink: pkellmey: We have more obese people in the world than starving to death people, so defining true poverty that everyone understands is a little more difficult. The U.S. has the world's fattest poor people.Get out of the country much?
quietwalker: How does getting anyone out of extreme poverty help while there are still people that make 30x my average wage? Isn't that the bigger problem?
