Ah the old "You made us look stupid & wasted our time so we're going to arrest you no matter what" way of law enforcement.  Now I'm not saying that this woman is anywhere near mother of the year territory, but a quick 3-5 minute call to her doctor to see if she was supposed to be taking various drugs would seem like the way to go.  At least for those who believe in a 'justice' system rather than a 'fark you, because we can' system.

Too bad getting her some help never seem to enter their thought patterns once it was realized that the kid was found but instead switched over to a "well someone's got to pay" way of thinking.
