Eddie never has been very good at filtering out the truth/watering down his opinions when doing interviews.

"I look forward to the skill and character building opportunities that playing on an inferior team presents."

I haven't been watching EJ this year. How many times has he been offsides at DC so far?

Maybe the guy with the worst first touch in the league shouldn't call others out

*Looks at standings from seats in section 214 at Century Link*

*See's Seattle Sounders FC in 1st Place*

"fark off Eddie! We knew ya was a lazy primadonna biatch when you were here and we're better off without you!"

If the MLS falls in a forest does anyone give a shiat?

Ahhhh EJ....thanks for helping us qualify for the WC.,...now slink off you lazy bastard. God I hope he isn't on the 30 or 23 man roster for WC. Total cancer

I'm (nominally) a DC United fan. He's not exactly wrong.

/We're gonna crush the Union on Saturday

I went to my first Sounders game last night, and I can assure you that people would give a shiat.

Now now, let him say his thing. Even if his thing makes him sound like an uneducated, ignorant moron. Free country and all that.

There's a reason for the moniker "mEJ." Sounders are far better off without his antics and piss-poor work ethic.

He's a grown ass man. He can say what he wants.

No videogames though.

I'm looking forward to his constant stepovers before giving the ball away just outside of his own penalty area in the World Cup.

I don't care for hockey. I work for a Canadian company and these people love it. I understand there are people who love it. I can also understand you not caring for soccer, but that is a dumbass comment.

A Sounders v. Timbers game is pretty much the only soccer game I'll sit down and actually watch (aside from a US Men's game).  Or a US Women's game if it's hot out.

Did he think any team willing to give Eddie Johnson DP money was going to be good? Hilarious...

Whole bunch of this...He will probably earn some of that money this weekend against the Union. Christ they suck.

DC United is a miserable team because it is full of DC United players. DC United players are miserable people because they play for DC United.

Aron Jóhannsson might just be our best option at the moment. Maybe we'll even have to stick Deuce up top given the form of our other forwards (and the way he has been on fire while playing up top with SSFC).

Jóhannsson was on a tear earlier this season, but cooled off at the end.  Jozy can't crack into Sunderland, and Agudelo has been rejected for a 2nd time in gaining a UK work permit in order to join Stoke City.  Terrence Boyd is hot right now, but the Austrian Bundesliga isn't a top notch league.  Oy vey!

At least Deuce is doing something right in Seattle.
