(Anchorage Daily News)   In most places, you put your fuzzy hats away once the weather warms up. In Alaska, you put your fuzzy hats away when the Eagles start looking for nest material   (adn.com) divider line 17

I wonder how much Alaska is bribing them to relocate from Philly.

"We will come at the Yankee dogs with the Sun in their eyes. Byt eh time they see us, it will be too late."

I wonder if these eagles can see Russia from their eyries?

While in Dutch Harbour, Alaska a few years back I was warned about the bald eagles. They were in nesting season and would attack people that they thought got too close to their nest. A women got 28 stiches in her head a few days before I arrived. I had previously been attacked by an owl, another story for another day, and as such I took the warnings very seriously. While on board my vessel I walked outside of the quarters and there was a full grown bald eagle sitting on the hand rail less than 5 feet from me. To my credit I didn't panic and run screaming away. I did pucker up for a second though. We locked eyes and then it looked me up and down and I swear it laughed. I walked the other way never turning my back to that bald eagle until I was around the corner. Any time a bird looks you up and down and thinks it can take you, then you need to be respectful of said bird. I will go to my grave thinking that if I had turned my back it would have attacked me. That was a huge damn bird.

I got Boston College and Philadelphia, much less tuneful than yours. And cheaper tickets.

Who cares about your silly little eagles. Today I walked past a sign warning of nesting Canada Geese.

Wait, how can it both be Alaska and Unalaska?

I mean, is it Alaska or not?
