My dad and I were driving down the interstate in Minnesota about a month ago when a truck that had "Ghost Tracker, Paranormal Investigator" written on the back flew past us in a hurry. My dad said, "He must've seen a ghost."

Are those places supposed to be haunted? Do you really believe that? I guarantee that I could go into either one of those places and not experience anything supernatural.

CSB: My Dad and I were driving from LA to just south of Ottowa, Ontario... 1980. Somewhere in America's Heartland, my 'shift' to drive was over; I pulled into a truck stop and headed into the restroom while my Dad grabbed a table and ordered coffee.

I start walking across the room when a guy at the table next to my Dad makes eye contact, goes white as a sheet, blurts something, knocks his chair flying and bolts for the door. His buddy threw a handful of bills at the table and ran after - he also seemed very frightened.

The whole restaurant is dead silent looking at me while I finish walking across the room before quietly going back to their conversations. My Dad on the other hand is failing badly at trying not to laugh. This is what he said happened:

The two men were drinking their coffees when one asked the other what was wrong... he looked terrible. The other replied: 'I had the absolute worst nightmare of my entire life. This stranger broke into my house with an axe and chopped up my whole family right in front of me. It was awful... OH MY GOD!!! THERE'S THE GUY!!!

/around the same time I went with a friend to Lilydale. Lady took one look at me and threw me out. I started to walk down the street and some guy confronted me, said he was the (forgot the exact words, head of the community) and that 'I wasn't welcome'. Enough to give a guy a complex.... :

Try it. A girl I went with ended up with three large scratch marks down her back that were not there pre-tour (we were all showing off tattoos while waiting to go in)

Even if you don't believe in the ghosties, they do historical tours as well... interesting place. The scariest thing is what medical procedures were used in the name of "helping people." Google 'thoracoscopy."

Hmm... Three scratch marks on her back, you say?  Yea, must be ghosts -- nothing else that humans ever do in private could produce scratch marks on your back.

/ well, ghosts or aliens
// I'm not saying it was aliens, but...

Hey Buzzkillicus, do you believe all the stories on tv, in movies or in books actually happened? I love ghost stories. I like to hear ghost stories, especially those with a historical slant. Doesn't mean I think Great Uncle Fred is hanging out in my attic.

Hook me up, my guess is the spirits will conveniently be silent while i am there... In fact, my presence might be the best solution for hauntings...

/because it's all bs....

I see nothing in that article to suggest a growing population ("more and more") of believers.

That was aliens.
