Denouncing Manhattan as a bastion for hipsters

These douchebags don't think they're hipsters? Just nuke the whole damn place and be done with it.

As a former resident I can tell you unequivocally that Marble Hill is in fact part of the Dominican Republic.

Asking a person who lives in the northern tip of Manhattan why he lives in the Bronx can really piss them off.

Fark Marble Hill. That area has caused me so many problems because it is legally part of Manhattan but physically part of the Bronx. We used to be an English colony, and now we aren't anymore. Lines change, deal with it, you are now in the Bronx unless you want to redig, and refill, the rivers.

Looks like they are dividing by zero, which as pure coincidence is their self awareness level.

I lived in Marble Hill for 4 years.  The only time anyone thought they weren't in the Bronx is when they were summoned to Jury duty in Manhattan.

They are not douchebags.  They are just nerds.  I think is cool someone remembers.

On a serious note, where are the 5 corners mentioned on gangs of New York?

Is the courier the individual who appears to be a douche?

No, it's not the twin midgets.

I believe that the currently accepted nomenclature is "imps".

75 years later, the guy thumbing his nose would have been arrested as a terrist and locked up for assaulting a public official.

Fox News: Bronx Borough President James Lyons, when did you first feel your life was in danger?
Bronx Borough President James Lyons: Oh! Immediately! I had no idea what he going to do. There could have been an AK 47 in his hand. I was worried for the safety of myself and for the safety of the people around me.

This looks like it was fun and an interesting bit of history. I learned something today and that's cool by me regardless of the method of delivery.

5 Points was roughly in the middle of what's now Lower Manhattan; below Canal between Centre Street and Bowery (can't remember the southern "point")

This is a good article describing the old location (now plowed under - they built City Hall and other civic buildings over it).

I am all about some cop hate, but what you posted is ludicrous.

Yeah, the whole area now has City Hall, Dept of City Planning, the Slave Burial Ground Park, a federal building, the Court House, and Dept of Education, & the NYPD HQs.  Collect Pond is now a concrete plaza.
