Emily Letts, who works at the Cherry Hill Women's Center in New Jersey, explains in an article for Cosmopolitan.com that ironically, despite being a sex educator, she hadn't been using any birth control and 'wound up pregnant' by mistake last November.

*sigh*

I'm not saying you should have to live with a mistake when you make one, but you sure as shiat shouldn't be celebrated for making it.

She's cute. I'd give her a reason to have another one.

Oh, she'll be celebrated alright. This vapid twat will be the poster child for women's rights by the end of the week. This nation has pretty much swirled down the toilet.

I think you underestimate how much anyone, even women, want to know about what this woman does with her ladyparts.

I don't think anyone of note will hail her as a hero (althought I'm sure plenty of crazies may hail her as either a hero or a villian).

I've been a necessarily passive participant in two abortions in my life. Neither were simple or easy for anyone involved

/it's a choice you make at a point in life
//and if it's not a very difficult choice, you need to question your own humanity

Sorry, I meant to say overestimate, not underestimate.

Seriously, no one wants to hear about your abortion or whatever else you do with your cooch.

I had an abortion. 5 years ago.

The drugs were great.  I remember nothing else.

some pain for a day or two, but free of a legitimate mistake (antibiotics and birth control is no joke).

Not sad, not hard... not celebratory. Kind of like every other medical procedure ever, aside from that twilight sedation, which they should bottle. (Last thing I remember was recommending they do so).

Forgot to take birth control pill - normal moment of human forgetfulness.

Condom slips off and leaks - sh*t happens

Being able to get an abortion in a free country when all else fails and post the video on YouTube?

Priceless.

didn't someone get an abortion during a segment of 20/20 or 60 minutes in the late 70's or early 80s?

Plenty of babbys being born on Youtube. It's only fair and balanced we get to see some abortin' too.

The problem I have is that its not a womans issue. Its a people issue. If women could reproduce asexually then I would STFU with my opinion.

Danger Avoid Death: She should have just had her YouTubes tied.

Dear Sir(s)

Whilst not in line with current boundries of 'good' taste, I found myself with the uncontrollable urge to emit a high pitched, if not girlish then somewhat seagull-esque, mode of laughter, and despite my stupendous and incredibly  willful attempts to stifle, aroused the suspicion of my fellow employees as to the source of my mirth. Consequently, the caffeinated beverage that had hitherto occupied solely my oral cavity, promptly expunged itself via my nasal ducts, onto my operations base, damaging both my typing, and visual interfaces. Needless to say, my company may attempt to recover the economic offset caused by your particular take on the story in hand.

The invoice shall be forwarded to your office, post haste.

Sincerely

Tosh, Utter. Esq.

Don't worry. That farked up shiat will happen. That, coupled with genetic farkery, advanced VR and sexbots, we're in for a wild cultural shift. And it'll serve everyone right.

Don't you think it's a little strange when teenage boys don't want kids until their gf/ons say they want an abortion?

And you're quite correct. The situations I dealt with were my own and probably far from common

/I was going to add something pithily wise about birth control being a mutual responsibility, but then it dawned on me that I didn't listen

Biatching and complaining and writing legislators about the lack of father's rights.

When I was 19 I knocked up my college girlfriend. We went to planned parenthood and she wanted me in the room when it happened. It was not a serene comfortable experience like that video shows. It was the right decision for us but it was uncomfortable, ugly and painful.

You got drugs?  As it should be.  I had an abortion during the Reagan era.  Was offered nitrous oxide to which I just said no, thinking it would be worthless, and thus received nothing.  Have never regretted the decision to proceed, as I would have been a horrible excuse for a parent.
