dittybopper: my_cats_breath_smells_like_cat_food: Destructor: Its been a long time since I've seen it, but in the movie, Aliens, those rifles never ejected spent casings. Maybe it's code for "caseless ammo", like this crazy thing uses:

Man...Germans are some brilliantly crazy people when it comes to mechanisms...this weapon sounds pretty damn awesome really.  3 round burst with zero recoil until after the 3rd round has fired.  Wacky.

The problem is the ammo.  Making a decent caseless round that's durable and safe enough to store is actually pretty hard.


but not impossible, as the LSAT has shown.

Meh. I'll wait for a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range.
