Yeah, no alcohol.  Sounds likely.

Did anybody tell you that this is the private club of The Satan's Helpers?

No alcohol? I thought those guys were really heavy into heroin. It seems weird that they would be against alcohol.

Shouldn't it be Hell's Angels? With an apostrophe? I was in a bar a few weeks ago and there was a bunch of Pagan's. I think the Pagan's stole the apostrophe from the Hells Angels.

They claim its plural (as in many types of hell,) not possessive.

Shrug, why not. Alcohol makes you a moron.

I doubt they'd do heroin or other opiates either.

Speed or coke, hey, game on.

Booze leads to drunken state.  Drunken state leads to vulnerability.  Vulnerability leads to brawls.  Brawls are bad for business.  Don't be that brawl guy.

I saw a couple of HA drinking beers recently. I'd comment on the rest of your post, but they are probably watching this thread.

Canadian HA certainly aren't under the "no alcohol" rule.... both in Ontario and BC, I've had a number of them in bars where I was working or drinking...

So apparently this chapter of the Hells Angels are actually a cross between the freemasons and Scientology?

I'm not sure whether that makes it slightly cooler or slightly lamer than the US's alcohol-drinking dues-less versions.

What are the German DUI laws like?  In a lot of Europe, you need a designated driver if you're going to have a single beer, which is hard if your transport is a motor bike.

No, that's just a club started by Tom Pagan from Milwaukee. Its mostly potluck and horseshoe games, but they do a little riding on weekends.

The rules probably vary from country to country.

I've never actually seen anyone in Denmark drinking alcohol, but I'll survey them to find out.

This seems like a good idea. :)

This being Germany, they probably derive more pleasure from making and following rules than actual riding.

So you're saying, the Hells Angels, who's basis is violence and intimidation, really don't want to be involved in "brawls".  Plus, I've heard they don't want to raise their voices, because that makes people nervous.  Also, the big bikes are scary and dangerous, so they're switching to Vespas.  What business do you think they're in?

Where did you get the idea that they don't pay dues to the American charters? Being consistently in arrears has been known to be a poor lifestyle choice.

**HIGH FIVE**

Plus, the oil slicks that you leave are dangerous to other high speed motorcyclists.

German news in English! ... Me thinks something got lost in translation there. Primarily the term "Hells Angels".
The bit about notifying by email, every member world wide, as to the status of individual members is total twaddle. Kassara it would appear, was doing way too many of the drugs they were supposed to be selling.

Of course, not to be too trollish, I have to admit that you won't be running in the 4s with anything remotely street legal, or reliable enough to get you across town without blowing its motor.

I've known several HA members.  My old CCD teacher was actually head of the local chapter.  There was definitely plenty of alcohol at cook outs.

If you drive without any indications that you are unfit to drive, you can have up to 0,05% BAC. If you cause an accident though and have more than 0,03%, you can lose your licence.

During the last years there was a bit of trouble with these clubs in Germany because members of the Hells Angels and the Bandidos kept trying to kill each other (and sometimes succeeded), so the police are a bit more cautious now. Other clubs are not better. (Some years ago one German state officially dissolved a motorcycle club after discovering that while the members were quite active in organized crime none of them actually had a driver's licence for motorbikes.)
