I said discourage,not disallow.

I don't have faith.  Not sure I ever did.  I was raised in the Jewish faith and still enjoy the traditions, but I don't believe in the literal truth of the Pentateuch.

But I acknowledge there is an experience or state called faith that other people have that I have never experienced.

WE were ALL surprised when we heard it was Paterno.
