It figures the Patriots would draft Lobot, he can record and review tape without anybody noticing. And Binks going to the Cowboys? It fits, Jerrah loves humble servants. Pittsburgh getting Jango Fett means that they can field 22 top-notch players and still have a ton of reserves. Look to them to win it all next year.

Meesa drop da ball.

As an Eagles fan, I'm underwhelmed by their pick... And jealous of San Fran's.

Giants get Yoda? SWEET!

Looks like a parade down the Canyon of Heroes for the next 800 years.

Suck it, biatches!

:O Mother of God  the Vikings got Luke!   wish the packers had not gotten R2-D2.  also LOL @ Bronco getting Porkins.

2014-05-04 07:00:18 PM
I like Jabba on the Bears D-Line, though I think they'll go safety this year.

That was by far the greatest draft in Cleveland sports history. Seriously, they will never do that well in a draft ever again

2014-05-04 07:02:56 PM
The Lions would never be competent enough to draft Darth Vader.

Trocadero: The Lions would never be competent enough to draft Darth Vader.

They would try altering the deal.

2014-05-04 07:12:36 PM
Painfully obvious they didn't know who revan was. Good thing they admitted it.

2014-05-04 07:13:54 PM
On the upside, if drafted by the Lions then Darth Vader would retire early from frustration.

I can see a link between Solo and Manziel

Come on, we all know Cleveland will pull a swerve and draft Bortles who will become Derek Anderson 2.0

Denver gets Porkins?

nooooooooooooooo.com

/Seriously, are we going to be at the end of jokes for the entirety of the off-season and 2014 season?

Obviously written by a Giants fan.

Any Star Wars mock draft that doesn't have Yoda, the Emperor, Tarkin, and Thrawn in the top five fails even at being taken jokingly serious.

2014-05-04 07:29:42 PM
Ok, this new Lego Star Wars show on XDisney is done right amazing.

The Darth Vader meets Jar Jar's family.....that was just the icing on the cake. Just downright a good time all around

I figured the dolphins would have drafted princess leia in her bikini. The dolphins always draft busts.

\ waka waka waka
\\these are the jokes people.

Thrawn was hugely overrated, taken from behind by a Noghri. For all of his vision, his competence in planning to defeat his enemies, he didn't see the knife coming for him. In fact, throughout that series his competence was only exceeded by his arrogance, he thought he was too smart to be beaten and so he didn't notice all the little happenings around him. Which makes him an analog for about half of the head coaches in the NFL.

Am I the first to point out that Darth Vader AND Anakin Skywalker can't be in the same draft?

WTF this ain't Star Trek!

2014-05-04 07:40:51 PM
Uhh, no. Cowboys would have taken Young Anakin - whiny, overhyped, and never does anything worthwhile.

2014-05-04 07:42:01 PM
How the fark do you let Anakin Skywalker fall all the way to 13? He has more potential than anyone we've ever seen in this sport. He would change the very balance of the league.

Check his stats from the combine and get back to me. No one has ever put up numbers like that.

Dolphins see the upper side of a .500 season? It's a TRAP!!!!!

the Emperor is fifth.

Niners get Revan....perfect for our new nebulous 'renegade' player roster: could go thug, could go back to good. Perfect.

Tarkin and Thrawn are Bill Belichick's new offensive and defensive coordinators.

Kuta: Obviously written by a Giants fan.

Maybe, but the Giants need to get younger and they need help on the offensive line.  At 900, Yoda doesn't fit the age or size requirements.

@you are a puppet - look, I get it, he won the pod race, but really what competition was there in the conference. He's got the measureables, but I just see him turning on you in critical moments. He'll be a big spotlight player for sure, just not the contributor you want him to be.

2014-05-04 09:20:41 PM
I love reading draft stuff, but once you're studying R2-D2's lack of lateral mobility, it's a sign you've gone too far.

2014-05-04 09:59:13 PM
R2D2 is the most versatile player in this draft. You can slit this kid anywhere on the field and he will excel.

His midichlorian reps are off The chart

LEAVE THE COWBOYS ALONE! YOU ARE DRIVING FANS AWAY WITH YOUR CONSTANT HATORADE FOR COWBOYS

2014-05-04 11:29:49 PM
Chewbacca as a Texan? Hell yeah!

2014-05-05 12:15:30 AM
No Tusken Raiders in the first round? More fallout from the child molestation scandal, I guess.

2014-05-05 12:17:21 AM
im ok with the bills taking mace windu.  in fact, i think they should draft samuel l jackson for real.

2014-05-05 12:37:18 AM
I would have thought someone with a defensive line need would take the Rancor.

2014-05-05 12:45:47 AM
As a Cowboys fan, I could not figure out the point of mock drafting Star Wars characters? Most of the entries don't even talk about which position each character would play. And while I'm not reading that entire thing because the concept itself is tenuous at best, it seemed that most of the entries talked about what the teams needed. The Cowboys' entry only said "hurr durr Jerry sucks at drafting." Yeah, duh, we know. You're not clever for pointing that out.

That said, Jerry is the type who would draft Jar Jar.  Just be glad he didn't get Tebow in the second round.

2014-05-05 07:07:46 AM
yeah i wish the titans were good enough to draft qui gon jin, we're more likely to draft a random stormtrooper

And as always suspected... playing for the Miami Dolphins is a trap!

They know that Anakin and Darth Vader are the same person right?

abhorrent1: They know that Anakin and Darth Vader are the same person right?

They are doing an NFL "draft" based on Star Wars characters... I'm going to give them some leeway on characters across movies that were really the same person.

2014-05-05 10:44:03 AM
I have to say, while the pick could have been cooler, I am pretty satisfied with the reasoning for the Rams' first pick

As a Raiders fan I feel your pain

2014-05-05 11:28:27 AM
Sebulba?  Eh.  He might be a good WR, but they can do better.  I mean, have all the force users been drafted by this point?

Raiders should have drafted the Sarlaac.  Would have fit with the whole "Black Hole" thing they got going.  And be a good match for their team, mobility wise.

2014-05-05 01:30:26 PM
And the winner is...the Colts, for not being involved in this mock draft.

2014-05-05 02:01:05 PM
Okay, I Lol'ed at some of the picks.
