Really.  If you want to do something, either do it, or accept that there is only so much you can do in the limited time and resources that you have available to you.

I got all of what is now called a "bucket list" out of the way early - teens and twenties.  Everything I have now is a bonus.  It's a freakin' awesome and serene life to live when you have no real desires other than curious interest in what happens next.

Mitch misspelled a word.  He meant "Especially if your hard if hearing."  Extrapolated, it's a must see if you get sexually aroused at hearing Madonna.

If someone is born blind, can that person see when they're dreaming? Is the experience just audible? Can dreaming be possible without sight?

Actually, yes. I was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a year or so after Ray Charles died. They had a tiny room with a new display of personal items of his. In a 4ft long glass case, among other things, was a Playboy opened to an article page written in Braille.

So many questions. Do they make Braille centerfolds? What would that look like? If not that means there was at least one man who bought Playboy "for the articles". Ha! Were they special made for Ray, or is that a thing?

I believe it is still there amongst their Ray Charles memorabilia.

Go back a few decades and Playboy really did have excellent and famous writers working for them - it's a cliche because people really did buy it for the articles at one point.

I had retinal detatchment a few years ago. Went blind in one eye, couldnt see at all for weeks after the surgery. It still feels like a weird magical gift to look at a tree or the sky sometimes.

Sad story.

// Dated a guy who was born a preemie and lost his sight due to damage caused when one of the nurses set the oxygen level in the incubator too high. If anything can be sadder than inevitable blindness, it's blindness caused by human error.

Hopefully his vision lasts a while.  Specifically, until at least August 21, 2017.  A total solar eclipse is one hell of a sight to behold.

Kid's only 9- given the rate of cybernetic advancement over the last 15 years, I predict he'll have vision again before he's 40.  Maybe even with thermal imaging and X-ray capabilities.

Show me documentation that you're about to go blind.  I have no compulsion to prove myself to a FARKer whom I don't even have favorited.
