Still Doubtful that this put an end to "Gatsby" parties held by shallow people who seemingly didn't get the point of the great Gatsby. I dare say various segments of the population will revel in the... revelations..

Sounds like a puerile attempt to shock readers, but the question really is whether the story is improved by such crassness.

Seeing as it's F. Scott Fitzgerald, it's unlikely the story could be improved by adding anything to it.
