Growing up a friend had a llama farm.  One weekend I'm spending the night and he's showing me their llamas, one the things spat on me, and let me tell you I was glad I packed extra clothes and was able to take a shower.  Their saliva must be some kind of defense mech, holy hell that stunk.  I would not want to be at a zoo when it happens, and they have range too.

How did they shame it, by using WinAmp?

Suffice it to say, alcohol was a factor in this incident.

I wa joking about the potency of llama spit deriving itself from them being vegetarians. Since the vegetarian diet makes those individuals have a very potent odor

I'm seeing a lot of Alpacas in the area (Northern Illinois). They're adorable! Are they just as mean as Llamas?

I own a Llama, she's awesome.  We've had her for 3 years and never a spitting incident.  Of course, she's cared for and socialized.  I often wonder about these "professionals".

My neighbors alpacas only spit after they ate fruit (juicy delicious fruit). They never meant to spit on anybody, they just spit when they found it convenient. Which was usually while they were being pet after their apples, so it ended up on people.

They seem like such pleasant and docile low key animals. I actually go out of my way so I can drive by the farms where they're kept just to see them. They seem very social; staying in packs (or whatever you call a group of them). I guess their fur is super valuable or something. /shrug. Oh well. I just think they're neat.

Llama eyes are intense. I am not sure they even blink. It feels like they are staring into your soul when they look at you.

They're survivors... unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality.

I can't lie to you about your chances, but... you have my sympathies.
