Stalking Daniel Day-Lewis for a few weeks would seem light in comparison.

Why?

Wrong Richmond, but the Tobacco Company rocks. Ate there while Redskins training camp was in town. Lot of players there.

becauase we are cheap for film companies and have a variety of terrain and architecture.. or maybe thier new villian is going to be that guy from wild wild west, but now he's a time traveler?

I was mistaken because the article stated.. Richmond Virginia

Do they "brunch" in england?

Also.. back to the why film in Richmond thing.. Richmond often subs for other locations.. in particular, Washington DC, like... with Hannibal, for example, they turned the canal turning basin in to the fishing wharfs of DC and did a lot filming in and around the Fan district as a sub for Georgetown.

Those Bastards!!!!

Losing Dave is a big thing for a lot of people here, Including me.. he wasn't a dear and personal freind but we were more than passing acquaintances in this town. and he showed up at a few functions at my request to be the "celebrity guest"  he was a very intriguing, well spoken character. The first time I ever met him officially face to face is when I was writing for a local music rag and set up an interview and to grab some promo schwag, I walk into his office at the old slave pit and he shouts out "PJ!!! good to see ya!  Bong hit?"

yep, found that out a few minutes after that post. my co worker was hanging out in the work shop at the brewery and I showed him the pic and asked him where the hell that pic was taken, it kinda looks like the tobacco company courtyard. BUT Smitty has already been there with the pic... several websites have messed it up.. they are filming in London.. that's Richmond on Themes, not Richmond on James.

but tobacco company is probably the last great "destination" restaurants here in town. I'm afraid to say that they only time I really hang out there is when I am out being the Brewer on Duty for a tap take over or special release. little too rich for my blood but a great place.

we got a few of the guys from the redskins to come visit the pub here at Legend, hope to get more of them..Mostly because our GM is a rabid Cowboys fan and it's fun to see him squirm when we doll the place up with Redskins paraphernalia.

I've been wondering that myself, ever since I first saw the pic a some days back.  Looks somewhat familiar, but I can't place her.

I never met Dave, but in all honesty he was one of my favorite contemporary artists. I absolutely love his style of art with his use of line drawing and color. I loved his attention to detail to the point I could spend hours staring at all the details in one of his drawings. I am still pissed off that I will never be able to see any new works by him and possibly Gwar. I have no idea if they will ever continue without Dave.

Hey are you the guy that wants to make a Fark Party for the Gwarbq? Cause I am going there for sure, even if I live like super far away. I want to pay my respects to Dave, get drunk, and go on a road trip to find a new city to live in. If you set it up I will come, and hang out with you fellow Richmond Farkers.

Great place to meet rich cougars.  I prefer Sine's for just getting ridiculously hammered though.

What's funny is Evans isn't in the shot was far as I can tell.

Did anyone scroll down to the unrelated FL mugshots link, see the black guy and thing "God good the years have not been kind to Isaiah Bradley or his family, we should have done better by them as a nation"? Anyone?

Yep, Richmond-upon-Thames, England. That's the Garden Centre at the Petersham Hotel.

I am not that guyBut I will be attending this years GWARBQ for obvious reasons, and I've been working for years to unofficially Establish the Pub at Legend Brewing company to be the recognized Fark Friendly hang out spot

and not just because I happen to be one of the brewers there ;)

Richmond is a great little big small town. Big Artist community, great restaurant and Bar, community.lots of history, lots of shiat going on all the time. A great cross section of Humanity  because we are smack dab in the middle the east coast.. an hours ride to the mountains, to the beach, or to Washington DC, and 24 hour's drive north or south to the furthest points you can reach

all that with a generally, overall, relaxed atmosphere, and it's still relatively cheap to live here.

Are you trying to convince me to live there? Cause it might just work, and I didn't even think about it until now. It be cool as hell to get a Fark Party to go during that time for real. I obviously don't live there so I can't really set it up, but you should or someone else. I hope to hang out with you there in August. Since you're a brewer I'll be happy to bring you some Wisconsin beer.
