Rumor is Adam Sandler leans a little right, too.  Maybe the minute they get their first big tax bill it's a little shocking, or maybe they're just trying to be different in a town that is almost uniformly liberal.  Or Dennis Miller has some serious powers of persuasion - they all came up with him.

Since he's not funny anymore, I guess conservative really is the next logical stop.

Whatever, Carrot.  Don't choke on all that money.

No Adam Sandler is an AIPAC type Pro-Israel Neocon

//Never mind it was Reagen who cut off aid to Israel for having the gall to bomb Saddam's reactor and Carter who got parts of the Arab world to recognize Israel while increasing military aid

That wouldn't surprise me given his humor; he's not exactly an enemy of traditional gender roles and social norms, and his movies are almost always about how persecuted his character is, how little he deserves it, and how much better he is than everyone else around him. Not many female comedians who've worked with him and his crew have had many complimentary things to say about the experience either. A multimillionaire release movie after movie where he pretends to be an average working stiff doesn't exactly express a rational understanding of economic and wealth issues in the US these days either.

Remember kids, if there's been a prominent shift in the zeitgeist and you don't agree with it, it's because FASCISM. It just is. Study it out.

He was recently on the campus of the university I work for shooting an eight episode "comedy" mini-series called 'Real Rob'.  If it's anything like 'Rob', maybe he'll have a career as Rush's sidekick, because "Rob" was terrible.

This. As many problems as I have with our capitalism, the war on drugs, occupying the middle east, and corruption in government that bends to the whims of big business...this is pretty far from fascism.

It's also ironic that he uses the term fascism as it's indicative of extreme right wing authoritarianism, not left.

Question: Is fascism right-wing or left-wing?

Answer: either or neither or both

It's more of an oligarchy than a fascist state

I saw this is in nearly every "conservative humor" thread, but...

There's a difference between "a comedian who happens to be conservative/liberal," VS.  "a liberal/conservative comedian."  The first is usually funny.  The latter is almost NEVER funny, no matter what side of the aisle they're on.  Hell, nearly any kind of "[gimmick/novelty] comedian" sucks.  Prop comics, [race/gay] comics, ventriloquist comics, "I'm a cute girl who swears a lot and brags about owning a buttplug, which I mention without tying into anything resembling a joke" etc.

Chris Rock is a comedian who is black, and who does some racial humor, but that's not his whole act.  He does universally funny bits about relationships, family, the government, politics, etc.  It's why he's one of the best stand-up comics around, and not some hack on Def Comedy Jam doing "white people drive like this" schlock.

Patton Oswalt is a comedian who is liberal, and does some political humor, but does stuff on life in general, dating, geek culture, music, movies.  It's why he's a great stand-up, and not some hack pandering the audience with "LOL, BUSH SUCKS, AMIRITE?" non-jokes.
