Everyone should absolutely know their intensifiers, all graded quantifiers, and most of the partitives.  Negative questions and tag questions have differing functions depending on rising or falling intonation, don't they?  Selected past participial adjectives are not interchangeable with functioning present participial adjectives.  Care should be taken when using modals with the passive voice.

Back a little over 10 years ago I put a profile up on match.com. In the clever and humorous profile I had written I had correctly used a semicolon. A woman read it, thought it was funny, and noticed the correct usage of the semicolon. She decided to respond and we were married 2 years later.

While dating, she mentioned the semicolon thing to me, and then added, "And it's a good thing it was there, too. It helped me overlook the fact that you used the word 'you're' instead of 'your.' I almost skipped your profile completely based on that."

Proper use of the subjunctive may lead to a nice conjunction, were I to relate it.
