So Kevin Spacey will end up being the bad guy. He always ends up being the bad guy, it's like who he is.

I'll admit it does look interesting, but not interesting enough to justify buying a CoD game.

I thought this was a useless thing.

The ending kinda annoyed me though.  Felt like they couldn't commit.

The writing of the Call of Duty games has grown worse with each iteration.  I hope they don't waste Spacey's talents with yet another daft script.

Doesn't Call of Duty have a long history of wasting good actor's talents? Black Ops II had Sam Worthington, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Keaton and Clancy Brown. Black Ops had Ed Harris and Gary Oldman. MW3 had Idris Elba, Timothy Olyphaunt, William Fichtner and Kevin McKidd. MW2 had Lance Henrikkson, Keith David and Will Arnett.

I LIKED MW2's story thank you very much. Till the random "look, Price is in prison and we won;t tell you why" bit anyway.

Yay, more advertising for Boston Dynamics and their exosuits. And I think they may step up their game a bit to compete with Titanfall.

Out of all the roles that man has played, they picked "House of Cards". WTF?

Battle of Washington DC is still one of my favorite parts of CoD. Mw2 had the best solo campaign for an fps imo.

It looks like they are trying to merge CoD with Titanfall.  If they allow the crazy jumping, climbing walls, exo suits, etc in multiplayer I wonder what that will be like.

Coincidentaly, that game had one of my favorite trailers ever (for movies, tv or games).

Sorry, should've used KPAX or Superman Returns or Pay It Forward or one of the myriad roles where he didn't make out with a dude.

Wolverines, Oil rig, prison raid, No Russian, the whole washington arc.
MW2 takes all of my money on single player.

Black ops was my second favorite.

/I like the intro monologue on this one, but the story seems like its chasing crysis and titanfall.
/Holding out hope that its deeper than "you're working for the bad guys and they turn out to be bad guys".

I watched a trailer for this one, and it's Kevin Spacey saying ominous things about how people cause their own democracies to fail while they shoot and/or blow up a lot of stuff in the background.

It could be a cool concept. MW2 showed that the CoD franchise can actually have interesting stories with good twists and can spark meaningful discussion about the role of warfare and the warriors who fight.

They could do an absolutely fabulous CoD that touches on things like privacy rights, citizen spying, the role of robotics and special forces in future wars, as well as asking the question of what the role of a military superpower is in a world with no standing army to fight (and also, what does it do to the soldiers who are thrust into that position?).

But, I'm really haven't been impressed since they canned all the Infinity Ward guys. Haven't bought a CoD since, and I don't yet see any reason to start.

Is it just me, or does this game look exactly like a last gen game? Maybe I'm nostalgic for the time when new consoles had massive leaps in graphic quality (even the first few years of 360 and PS3 titles looked like their previous gen at first, now their games look like a whole new console generation compared to those early titles), but so far I don't believe I've seen anything on these new systems which could not be done on the older ones.

If this doesn't change soon, Nintendo could come out a winner in all this. Why spend $400-$500 on a system which is the exact same as the one you already have, when you can get a Wii U with a controller screen for $300 and with free online too. All they need is to get third party publishers on board, and things can get interesting...
