Will the prison now offer an exchange of all the jumpsuits bearing his number?

The murder Hernandez is accused of happened one block where from where I used to live in Boston. It's a rough neighborhood so I just assumed it was the same old same old going on. Was shocked to find out that for once the shooting wasn't some neighborhood thing but a Patriots' player on a murder spree.

It will never happen, but I'd like to see him totally ignored. No news media coverage, no acknowledgement of his existence beyond prison authorities.

Or just have Oklahoma take care of him.

He's made a lot of money in his young career, but there can't be much left. He's got enough legal crap floating around to keep a small law firm up and running all by himself. Even if he lives and if he ever gets out, he's gonna be farkin broke.

See what happens when you take an animal and put him in a cage with the rest of the animals?

I'm amazed he could hold it back as long as he did.

I'm starting to think that Aaron Hernandez may not be a good person.

//Just a hunch.

And just rocketing up my big board for the Death Draft is Aaron Hernandez.  He's really stepped up his game here lately.

Not happening. A murder rap usually earns you a certain amount of street cred in the county, so long as you didn't do it while raping a child, or something. There's also the fact that damn few jailbirds have the combination of size and athleticism that got Hernandez an NFL contract, and all they have to work with are improvised knives at close quarters.

the thing that bugs me about this is that he just looks so.......comfortable sitting in court, all chained up.  kind of like he knew that eventually he'd end up there.  he just looks...at home.

Does anyone else feel the smallest bit bad for him?

He's obviously a piece of garbage and isn't worth the shirt he wears but this is a 24 year old who had a terrible upbringing and this is the only way he knows how do function. He's taking amazing gifts and just wasting them because no one ever made him grow up.

I don't know, I feel bad about a lot of guys his age in jail.

You shouldn't. There are still choices one can make, regardless of that upbringing. Even people with sociopathy sometimes manage not to act like Hernandez.

There are limits to the nature/nurture argument and they stop well before cold blooded murder.
