ColSanders: Ok, n00b hockey fan question time.  And I'm asking this out of genuine ignorance and curiosity.  I thought of this during "Oh Canada" and the National Anthem.  What percentage of American team players and Canadian players are actually American and Canadian respectively?  Don't many NHL players play for different countries in the Olympics? Doesn't that diminish the national pride that the respective anthems are supposed to represent?

Yes.

Go(h) Canada!

Hate on NBC, but they don't dick around the playoff schedule like ABC does for the NBA.

Game two of this series starts at 12:30 pm EDT. Your definition of "not screwing" seems to bear a perilous amount with President Clinton's.

That's in honour of the Kentucky Derby,  *hoping for double or triple overtime*  serve them right for not doing it after the race. *spits*

that happened a about 4-5 years ago and they switched the game to NBCsports.  of course this was when NBCsports wasn't on all tvs so they screwed a lot of people.

Was that that long ago?  I loved everyone's heads exploding (most didn't have Versus, as it was called at the time as I recall)

It definitely wasn't even called NBCSN at the time.  It was either still called VS or OLN.  And I missed the announcement of the switch (and was without Internet that day), so I went batshiat.

yeah it was VS at the time.  i forgot the teams playing but i remember being at work watching and then then "the rest of the game will be on VS, lets go to Kentucky to talk about horses that won't be racing for another 2 hours!!!!"  and we only had the basic cable service at work so many plastic plates were thrown on the ground that day

It's M.I.A. She ripped it off from an old song by a girl band called Shampoo.

My wife is Polish and you have "Polish" in your username. I will do exactly what you suggest. It's crazy enough to work... BRB.

There's some debate about the procedure.  Some say spin and spit, others say spin and curse, and others say spin, spit, and curse just to be safe.  Aaron Sorkin wrote an explanation a few years ago.

Two questions:
1) Where does he get his suits?  I assume they're all custom made.

2) What happens to his suits after he's worn them?  I'm imagining the greatest suit rack ever in some Goodwill somewhere.

As players go, I think Montreal has more Americans, and Boston has more French-Canadians.

A quick trip to fabric land with Grapes.

I have no idea what he does with them afterwards but he has re-worn some of them.
