(Some Guy)   So I'm 20 pages from finishing my novel, and I need some beer. Unfortunately, Indiana doesn't sell beer between 3 and 7 in the morning. Back home again, my arse   (alcohollaws.org ) divider line

How could you know the number of pages until completion -is it an autobiography?

It ends with a horrible accident involving a goat, three nuns, and a Winnebago while getting beer. Enjoy your last few hours.

I hear if you go to The Netherlands and clean the streets they'll give you free beer.

Also, bottles and cans are wonderful storage devices in case you purchase you beer in leaky sacks.

It would take GRRM 20 pages just to describe the bottle cap.

Well, if you can't plan any better than that I sure as hell don't trust you to tell a decent story

What, you don't have any emergency cans squirreled away in the toilet tank or in an old pair of boots at the back of the closet? If you're not going to take your drinking seriously then don't expect any sympathy from this website.

I keep a flask of pure grain alcohol along with a gallon of rainwater hidden away just in case I am too drunk to remember to stock up on beer before 5pm on Sundays.

Do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk... ice cream. Ice cream, Mandrake, children's ice cream.

I've never written a novel, but I assume once you have the outline you can estimate the number of pages pretty accurately.

I've written screen plays... and for those, there's a general rule that one page is one minute on screen.  And generally speaking, one should know how long the film should be.

Subby, that's why I keep a bottle of Lord Calverts stashed, because sometimes you just never know when it may come in handy.

You can however, get MERS during those hours.
It's a trade off.
