"Naya is jealous that Lea is the show's main star."

Isn't this more the issue... I honestly don't know who sings better, but, Lea is the star of the show, so, if someone is leaving, it is a secondary character.

So the second- and fourth-prettiest women on the show hate each other.

My first thought too. I'd assumed they wrapped it up when the characters finished high school.

I pass it in my DVR program list when I go from Archer to Top Gear. My wife has something like 10 episodes waiting.

It usually gets to 15 or 20 before she admits she's never going to watch the show again and deletes it.

My good lady wife and I were flipping channels last night on the old television and we came across Glee.  We watched the first season and enjoyed it, the second and started to lose interest and couldn't bear more then a few episodes of season 3.  Anyhow, from the 20 mins we saw, this show has totally lost it's way.  It has no idea what it's about, what to do with itself or even how to pick decent music for the auto tune demos... errr, I mean the musical numbers.  I can't believe it's still being made.  I'm assuming it's got to be cancelled at some point.

Lea Michele is almost 28. Naya Rivera is 27. They aren't really even college-aged girls anymore.

According to Blind Gossip, Lea Michelle was sleeping with Big Sean in Naya's bed - that's what blew the whole situation out of proportion.

My wife does the same thing. I used to watch it with her since she watches my stuff a lot, but there came a point early last year when I finally had to bow out because it went from laughably bad to painfully bad. Right around that time, my wife would start piling them up 5 or 6 at a time and play catch-up on long weekends or whatever ("Been watching since season 1 and it's only going until season 6, might as well see how bad it gets."). I zipped in and out of the living room enough on her last bout to know what was going on with Lea Michele's character: she's been in New York less than a year and landed the lead in her favorite play that just happened to be revived at that moment even though she has no Broadway experience and is just an 18 year old freshman at the prestigious performing arts college that she dramatically dropped out of for daring to suggest that she might not yet be quite as great as she thinks she is. A true culmination of the life of this self-righteous biatch of a character who flies into hysterics anytime someone suggests that she needs to work on her craft a bit. My wife called me in and had me watch the most recent episode, the opening night of the play she's been working on. There was a setup to have this all blow up in her face and show that the reality of life in the entertainment business is that it's hard and unforgiving, so it's not a good idea to be an egotistical prick and burn bridges, but it's as if Lea Michele locked herself in the writer's room and hammered it out herself. The entire thing was just everyone fawning over her and telling her how much better than them she is, her being the one that finally tells off Jane Lynch, and getting through the opening night with rave reviews. It's even capped off with a trip to a gay club that idolizes her as some kind of an underground celebrity. The opportunity to show that having a Queen Biatch attitude isn't enough and everything isn't going to just fall into your lap just because you wanted it a bunch instead turned into a glimpse at Lea Michele's masturbatory fantasies. And that's pretty much where the show lies now: a vehicle to please its star's ego rather than serve the story and the audience.

Isn't it a show about high school that's been running for more than 4 years?  How the fark is Lea still in the damned cast to begin with?  Even if her character ostensibly started as a freshman...

// Also, shouldn't it be  painfully obvious that the cast is in their 30s by this point?  One would think being able to have a rotating cast would be an easy strong point for the show.

Look, I respect your broad approach to gender relations, but painting broad strokes with such a broad brush is no way to broaden your horizons, son. Plus it pisses biatches off when you call them broads.
