I like to take those 'family' rear window decals and put them under my driver's window with Xs through them, like WWII confirmed kills.

That's pretty cool. I wonder how my wife would feel about that being on the side of our minivan.

This really isn't the worst ever as it's simply a livery in Forza.

Now the Dragon Vette is actually real, and the absolute worst thing to ever happen to a Corvette.

Except for maybe the Corvette Summer fiberglass disaster.

It sure is.

The word creepy is exceedingly overused.

Never understood why people love Pennywise so much from an unwatchabley cheesy miniseries from the 1980's.

Because Pennywise was the one thing the mini-series got close to right. And you can't tell me that watching that movie as a kid in the 80s wouldn't have freaked you out a bit. Especially early on when he's in the sewer talking to Georgie.

It looks like a badly air-brushed reinterpretation of a Giger work on a Scion.

With LEDs gleaming through the chicken wire mesh grille.

I've never seen such hard work, expense, and effort applied to something with an end result that is completely and utterly hideous in every regard.

Wow.

Hi, I'm from the 70s. That car really didn't rate. You'd see much gaudier shiat every month in the hot rod mags. Understated/Euro was a few years away.

I was a kid, and i actually read the book prior when i was like 14 or 15 (yes, i was a nerd).   To this day, its probably the longest book i've ever read.  I didn't really imagine the clown looking like that, though i suppose they did the best they could, and i should stop being critical.

The Forza franchise had a huge defection with the release of FM5.  They lost over 3/4ths of their fanbase because of a number of really stupid reasons.

Now everyone is just waiting for Project CARS because people aren't going back to Microsoft.  Can't flip to the Sony side either, as the GT series is absolute garbage at this point.

This thread needs some itasha. I'm at work so I'm not gonna.I dig 'em, but most people wont.

I'm pretty easy going when it comes to car modification. Do what makes you happy. Some things, though, are flat out stupid. Like "stancing" and the end result of an extremely screwed up suspension.

Itasha is, "I like this and I don't give a fark about what you think." It's letting your geek/freak flag fly.

Bōsōzoku is about daring you to question them on it. Japanese society is all about conforming without question and drawing as little attention to yourself as possible to avoid any situation where you might embarrass yourself, your company, or your family. In short, it's a very reserved/stifled society. Which is why when people break from it they crank it up to 11. But that's a different topic.

Bōsōzoku is about modifying cars specifically to be as flashy and attention grabbing as possible. The mods don't have to make sense. Some are done because they don't. It's about thumbing your nose at society and intentionally being a rebel. As such, many of the people involved in it are gangster types. The kind of reckless and dangerous person that you'd rather not piss off on a dark street. Well, it started that way but as with everything in the information age it's getting more watered down as people flock to things that they think are cool. Like tattoos here in the States.

Itasha is "Because why the fark not?" and Bōsōzoku is "Because fark you."

/All IIRC, of course.

Dragon vette is sort of like those internet shock pictures.

You see it once and that's enough.  No need to see it again.
