"It's how America rolls."

It's how America rolls?

Let's see.  What dime store, peacocking, tough monkey street thug who can't spell his own name have I heard that from?

Ah, yeah.  All of them.  Get a job, you caustic sh*tbag.

He's gonna get waterboarded any day now to prove to you libulardos that its not torture. Any day now. Very soon.

No, that is not how "America rolls," you chickenhawk chickenshiat ...

Isn't he flat out saying it's torture now?

For Christians, Baptism is considered a holy sacrament, and torturing people is not something to be celebrated.

Putting the two together is blasphemy.

These are blasphemous people who use false Christianity to line their own pockets, so they're okay with this.

I think I'll pass on a religion that equates salvation with torture. Seems a bit hellraiserish in my book.

Yeah, that's the one you want defending you with regard to waterboarding.

If that's the case then I'd love to volunteer to baptize Hannity.

"Do you reject Ailes?  And all his works? And all his empty promises?"

Yeah but hannity and palin aren't actually following the Christian gods.

I can't stand hannity, but I bet Jon Stewart will have fun with this.

The first two are awesome. The third one not so much but it has a young Dax and a gothic Paula Marshall. Don't bother with the rest of them. Bloodline could have been good but they cut the shiat out of it.

Anyway, what was I saying? Oh yeah, why is anyone listening to any of these people? What credentials do they have? An Alaskan governor who couldn't even finish her term and some talking head for a Republican propaganda network. There are random bloggers with better resumes than these people, why all the coverage?

Three way symbiosis.

We love to hate them because they piss us off.
Their followers love seeing them piss us off.
They love getting paid to be worshipped for pissing us off.

Those two, especially.  The height of hypocrisy and gall.  And arrogance far beyond their merit.

Glad he's given up on the pretense that water boarding isn't torture.

To bad he's trying to make torture an actual policy.

torture hasn't been an actual policy for at least 2 administrations now?

/okay, Obama admin has either stopped or kept mum about it

Is it really torture though?  Imagine this little scenario...

"You're going tell us what we want to know and you're going to tell us now!"

"You don't frighten me."

"Perhaps a little water boarding will change your mind".

"Do your worst"

"Or, maybe, we'll just put on some Sean Hannity"

"NO!  You bastards!  I'll talk!  I'll talk!"

Jesus was tortured to death and saved the Jews.  We are trying to create a messiah to save the Muslims.

"Well what do you want to do with terrorists?" Hannity asked on his radio show before diving into a hypothetical in which someone kidnaps three kids. In his comparison, the authorities detain one of the kidnappers, but the kids are still missing.

"Let's see. Would you want to baptize by water boarding the guy who took your three children? I think would. As a matter of fact, it wouldn't really be much of a question. I think I'd baptize them again and again and again until I found out where my kids are," he said.

Man, are they still holding onto that "ticking clock" wet dream? How many years will it be before this country recovers from the damage done to it by "24"?

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Palin had given them an answer, he asked her, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" "The most important one," answered Palin, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel: The Fox our News, the Fox is one.  Love the Fox your News with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Hate your neighbor if they be Democrats, or Muslims, or homosexuals.' There is no commandment greater than these."

American English Word Rape Of The Day:  Baptize

It doesn't mean what these pretend Christians think it means, or they've twisted the meaning so hard it's like a new word.

Has Hannity been baptized yet?  I think he needs a good baptism.

There is nothing more against the founding principles of this nation than torture.

Another tough guy heard from.  I bet even the remotest threat of waterboarding would make Hannity crap his pants.

It goes right along with Supply-Side NRA Jesus, though.  Did not he say, "...but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, cause him pain until he withers on the vine and is ground into the dust. If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, get your best lawyers to countersue."

Still hasn't followed through on his promise to get "baptized" to show how it's not torture.

If I ever saw Sean Hannity on the street, I'd have to fight myself really hard not to dragon punch him.

So, by his logic I could accuse him of molesting my six-year old son, and it would be fine for the cops to torture him to get a confession.

Nope. See the difference between Sean and you is that he's right and you're wrong. That's why you'll never beat him.

What part of "O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!" advocates torture?

2014-04-29 04:09:41 PM
I don't really get why we ever tortured people in the first place. Even if you can put your all your morality aside (I couldn't, but hypothetically), hasn't it been shown that you get unreliable information most of the time anyway so what's the point even from a heartless pragmatic standpoint? You can get people to tell your they're witches if you torture them long enough

1) We have the rule of law so emotional investment like this doesn't come into play.

2) Comparing this to captured "terrorists" is begging the question, as we don't know for sure the people we are "baptizing" are actually terrorists. Unless he's ok with torturing some dude that just happened to be at the playground the same time your kids were abducted.

3) Based upon torture's track history, they'll send you to 1000 places just to stop the torture, and none of those places will be correct.

So good job, you're an anarchist monster that doesn't want to find out the actual location of your kids. Christ, what an asshole.

"Now was Abu Ghraib over the top?" he said. "Of course. We agree. It was embarrassing."

"Embarrassing", oooh, good answer. Not to mention time-consuming. It's much better to have your torture chamber set up like an assembly line, a bit more efficient, without all those ad-hoc improvisations that reflect poorly on our American ingenuity. And keep the damn cameras out of there.

Let's concentrate on trying not to blush and let the sob sisters worry about morality, ethics, Geneva, crap like that.

Probably the same "executive privilege" that was so necessary and proper until the black guy showed up. Now it's tyrannical.

No, I think you've got us confused with some other country. But who?

I keep trying to tell you. All they're missing is the uniforms.

Conservatives are angry, vengeful people. It makes them feel good emotionally to know that their enemies are suffering.
