I wondered about this.
What is the opening bid? Do I bid lower or higher for a baby vs. housebroken adult with some skills?
Is this part of the 50/50 raffle?
Handfull of questions.
TFA is chockfull of Fark fodder.

My company, at which I am the only employee, is required to have workers comp. And I work from home and do nothing strenuous or dangerous ever. Except, I guess, drive my car to meetings once a week. How are they required to have it and this place isn't?

I grew up near there.  I'm surprised they didn't hold a clapping and thumb-wrestling contest as a fundraiser.  Good people but not higher order thinkers.

"Hey, you hear Brett done lost his arm?"

"Well, ain't that a damn shame."

"Sure is.  But you know what that means.  Juggling competition!"

The brain learns how to compensate after any serious injury.  I"m sure there will be some chaffing and a few missed strokes but eventually his ability to spank it will return to his pre accident norms.

There's an update, but no word on worker's comp. I think worker's comp has a limit, anyway, and if the guy's arm never works right or has to be re-amputated, he might be stuck on Social Security and charity the rest of his life.
