Maybe he was baited, but he still said what he said. And I suspect that he'd said shiat like that before, so she knew exactly where the conversation was going to go.

Trump wouldn't be a "frontrunner" even if he were the only one in the race.

biatch set me up. Truly the oldest defense around. Sure, I believe you dude. She just happens to record one conversation where you said horrible things, but she made you say them.

So the Marion Berry defense?

2014-04-28 04:51:12 PM
party of personal responsibility everyone!

2014-04-28 04:58:23 PM
Any defense he might have been able to use about being recorded surreptitiously, and subsequently taken out of context, went out the window about 5 minutes into his 10 minute rant.

Try Samson and Delilah, Adam and Eve, et al.

Men have been using this flimsy excuse since the beginning of time.

Curiously enough, his wife had gone after her right before this for milking Sterling for very pricey gifts ie - vehicles, an apartment, etc. There is some truth in him being set up.
She got her gifts, was tired of him and his wife and wait, here's a racist rampage. Oh my!

Oh, I agree completely.  It was just that the first thing that popped into my mind was Berry when they told him they had him on video going "biatch set me up".

But all of that ignores the overarching fact that he is a racist. To no one's surprise, Trump missed the point completely.

Yup, she totally made him be racist because she was sick of him. Uh huh. All her fault.

She knew what he was like when she was banging him and taking his gifts. Women like that will keep things to themselves until things go awry.

And? He probably shouldn't be racist if he's worried about his racism getting out, especially if he's banging a multiracial chick.

It was already "out"...

Just as long as we all agree that the fault lies squarely on Obama!

Congratulations on an 'on a par with farkface von clownstick' level of point missing.

While all of the things you suggest about the way she may or may not have set them up not a single one is relevant because it wouldn't have worked if he weren't an appallingly racist piece of shiat in the first place. Which is the actual point.

Has anyone thought of giving Donald Sterling a Snickers?

2014-04-28 07:55:46 PM
Apparently he knew he was being recorded. And not just that specific time -- he pays his "girlfriend" to serve as his "archivist." So Trump is, surprise, talking out of his ass.

It's not like he said anything soooo racist.  things have been worse

Donald Trump is "running for president" in the same way Sarah Palin is -- he needs to give that impression for the grift he's running, but he will never actually run.

you'll get over it and so will the NBA.

I never defended his dickishness; he's an arrogant philandering, racist piece of sh*t, we all know this. I was merely pointing out her vindictive, gold diggin' shenanigans. They deserve each other.

better yet, who has quit the Clippers organization on moral grounds?

So there were taped recordings before this week of him telling his girlfriend not to hang out with black people?

As for the Clippers "quitting" - they have this thing called contracts. So far they protested by wearing their warm-up jerseys inside out to hide the team logo. I'm sure everyone is waiting for this to finish playing out.

In short, I have no idea what f*cking point you're trying to make, unless you think what he said was justifiable and we should just let it slide.

Yeah - his choice of mistresses is definitely his main mistake. With keen insight like that, the NFL would be crazy not to sell Trump the Buffalo Bills.

I suspect the NBA has a real problem with breach of contract by players for petty personal reasons like morals. That's a luxury for the wealthy and those with nothing to lose.
