wow. even with adblockers blocking the 22 cookies that site tries to load, site takes 20 seconds to first load the stupid onsite video ads, another 20 to load the video, and the video then has a non-skippable 30 second ad unless you type in a passcode.

no thanks. no video is worth that.

Lawer:  "You burned my client alive".
Cop:  "I had no way of knowing it would happen"
Lawyer:  "They told you in training, and It says "Flammable" right here on the can.
Cop:  "yeah but I couldn't know until I actually tried it."

Wow. Just wow.

I'm assuming the policeman got training on pepper-spray.
I can even overlook the fireball in the -ahem- heat of the moment.

What I do have an issue with is that (as a teen who fooled around with police grade spray) the amount, intensity and spread of that kind of pepper spray is phenomenal. You can even see the mist behind the guy that still hasn't caught fire.
What do you think is going to happen when all that reaches the rest of the crowd?
Why risk panic and a stampede??

I would have suggested the poke him with a pole (hah!) pretending to try and knock him back. The normal reaction would be to grab it.
Once the hooligan does that, yank him forward.

I did that with my sister's hairspray one time.  It's not like a flame thrower.  Especially if it's just a quick burst that OH SHIAT FIRE and it's off and singed some eyebrows.  We've all been there.

Why would you bring a farking flare to a game unless you planned on making a menace of yourself?  Which is why he deserved much worse than what he actually got. Should have been in his seat watching the game instead of up to no good.

You should watch some Eastern European or South American football matches - especially derby/local grudge matches.  Fireworks and flares and smoke bombs are surprising prevalent.

At least his color matches. It'd be worse if he was on flaming orange fire in the other supporters' section.

The security officer who fired the gas at him presumably didn't know that the two chemicals were combustible.

OK, so, was it a COP or was it a SECURITY GUARD?

Because they're two entirely different animals, even in Poland. If it was a cop, then chances are, the douchebag knew the stuff was flammable, even if he didn't entirely realize the magnitude of the subsequent fireball.

However, if it was a security guard, not only did he not know it was flammable, he had no idea that spraying ANY flammable liquid on a flame was a bad idea, or that a flare was in fact an ignition source. He was just one step above hopping around hooting and screeching "Fire bad! Fire bad!" when that poor fool went up in flames.

You know how we have lots of shootings and murders on the weekends, but relatively civilized sporting events? Well, they don't have lots of shootings and murders in Europe.
