After all that Clinton has done for her?

What an Indian giver!

All that talk about keeping a closer eye on Wall Street and yet she gives the former senior senator from Wall Street the boost?

Oh, to be a fly on the wall in Bernie Sanders' office.

I hope this means Warren is thinking about running. Imagine a President who's not constantly sucking Wall St.s cock. She's probably not corrupt enough to get elected though.

It's her thing, so it doesn't surprise me that she said it that way.  Unfortunately for everyone from the past eight years or so who've said they wanted to change the environment of Washington Politics, it's neigh on impossible to do so.

The market is really nothing more than legal gambling.  It's no wonder Warren opposes Wall Street.  Competition.

Gatorade was developed by the University of Florida. Had Sen. Warren been in charge of the project, it would have been developed by FSU instead, and we'd hydrate ourselves during intense workouts by drinking 32 ounces of Seminole Fluid.

It was at least a little more creative than the "bllarrgh litards!" stuff we usually get.

I suppose you have to consider the source.  But everyone should be allowed to crack a joke now and then.

I'd rather she stay in the Senate, and continue to Cherokee position on an important committee.

As much as I realize that congress has a lot of control over what the president's allowed to do, I'm thinking Warren could really accomplish some good.  I'm not 100% sure but since the prez is in charge of the executive branch, couldn't she push regulatory agencies in an aggressive direction and hope that the judiciary that hears the cases involving Wall St execs actually runs the trail fairly and that SCOTUS doesn't kill any progress.

You know, if someone like Senator Warren ran for President, and actually got elected, I might think there was some hope for your country.

Oh well.

There's always hope, and I say that as a confirmed misanthrope. Nobody could have predicted how fast the country turned around on equal rights for gay people.

But yeah, Warren will probably not become president, and it's a real pity.

I hope she said "Hillary is terrific" the same way you're sick of an interviewer leading you to a certain question or comment and you say something very sarcastically or what not to get them to shut up about it.

As much as I like the idea of President Warren, I'd far prefer her to stay in Congress.

Mercutio74: As much as I realize that congress has a lot of control over what the president's allowed to do...

And this is why. Because it's worked so well for Obama thus far.

I hate her? I don't know that much about her, really. The fanboy liblove here is enough to be irritating but she may be great for all I know.

But thanks for the assessment, Mr. Papsmear.

I really think this is true.  If they had something on her we'd know about it by now. Only someone without skeletons is that brave under these circumstances.  Either that or she's a replicant and doesn't know it.

I guess that's not as ridiculous as "she's a fool for advocating a $22-an-hour minimum wage", which some dolt actually posted on here.

Actually, I said I don't know that much about her. I do know she was a Harvard law professor, defeated Scott Brown in the Mass. Senate race and has built her resume on consumer protection, Wall Street and financial issues. Not a lot, but hardly saying "I don't know anything." Oh, and I do know she claimed Native American heritage at some point.

The farklib devotion to her isn't enough to make me hate her, just generally be irritated. That is all.
