President of Transnistria
Minister of Defense
zamboni: Transnistria!Transnistria! You border on the the Dneister!Your land is a 400km long valley.Your chief export is cognac!(as well as bed linens, weapons, cable and workers)You're a communist republic! You're a red regime!
ZAZ: Everybody knows Transnistria is right beyond Nistria./amateur etymologist
NewportBarGuy: Not real?[i59.tinypic.com image 480x480]President of Transnistria[i61.tinypic.com image 360x256]Minister of DefenseI assure you, Subby, this is a very real and magical place.
WTF Indeed: This thread is a trap.
zerkalo: Meh. shiat hole with nothing more than pensioners and alcoholism. Russia wouldn't lift a finger for it. Get used to disappointment, separatist scum.
hardinparamedic: WTF Indeed: This thread is a trap. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Grahor: Transnistria is a former part of Moldova, which fought a very real war with Moldova in the course of USSR's dissolution and is currently a kind of Russian protectorate.
traylor: Subby's not sure that's even a real placeI live ~ 800 km / 500 miles from Transnistria. I didn't even know that Moldova (which is only two country borders from me) was a real country 5 years ago, and I only learned about Transnistria about a year ago - mind you, this breakaway territory was brought to existence in 1990.It's not that I'm bad from geography. It's that the geopolitical importance of these two countries is zero. It's like Somalia without pirates.
hotrod2001: All of these old Soviet states are acting like colleges wooing the SEC, ACC and B1G.
ZAZ: MaudlinMutantMollusk: Is that anywhere near Diodia?Actually it's between Collectria and Emitrea.
ISO15693: Well you know what they say: as goes Transnistria, so goes the Nagohrno-Karabakh republic.[cdn4.vtourist.com image 658x492]Their 5 Transnistrian Ruble note has a nice etching of their brandy factory on it.
JoieD'Zen: You know who else was from Transsomewhereoranother?
NewportBarGuy: Not real?President of TransnistriaMinister of DefenseI assure you, Subby, this is a very real and magical place.
Medic Zero: Wow! Who else is familiar with Nagorno-Karabak besides us?
jaytkay: Medic Zero: Wow! Who else is familiar with Nagorno-Karabak besides us?It's familiar to me, but I couldn't find it on a map. Nagorno-Karabakh was on the news a lot during the war.
