WTF?  Are we supposed to read the book and talk about it at length before tonight's episode airs?

Will there be a Zombie Joffrey?

I'm just upset that they tried to make me dislike the handsome, charming incestuous attempted child murderer by having him get rapey.  Just when I thought he was such a great guy!

I predict The Hound will eat more chickens. In fact, he'll eat every farking chicken in the room.

Will Jaime undertake Cersei's quest?

The quest to get hammered 24/7?

Isnt answer in the books?

BalugaJoe: Isnt answer in the books?

Surprisingly not. Until this season, the series has mirrored the books pretty closely, but Arya and the Hound is new, and the whole 'Jamie rapes Cercei and turns himself into an unsympathetic character again' thing is new. I'm curious to see if they begin diverging seriously, ala  True Blood , or if they somehow bring it all back in line.

/hopefully none of that counts as spoilers?

You know...the bit where he's not doing now what he was doing at this point in the books? And Arya either? I don't want to say explicitly, for spoilers, but it should be pretty damn clear what I mean if you've read...

Arya doesn't make it to her next destination until the end of book three. Plenty of time for that, since this season is covering the second half of Storm.

Similarly, the Hound doesn't make it to where he is (possibly...?) going until a little bit before that. Plenty of time.

Great. Does that mean Jon Snow gets transformed into a bloody proto-White Walker goddess and that Dany starts having sex with every supernatural creature?

OtherLittleGuy: Great. Does that mean Jon Snow gets transformed into a bloody proto-White Walker goddess and that Dany starts having sex with every supernatural creature?

Close. Jon Snow finds Howland Reed and goes to the Isle of Faces, where he resurrects Ned Stark so he can finally have sex with him. Meanwhile, in a surprise move, Daenarys sells all three dragons, marries a ship's mate from the Summer Islands, emigrates, and spends the rest of her days wearing a grass skirt and pooping out crotchfruit for her husband.

Oh, and Tyrion rapes Cersei to death.

No, just a couple of bastards

They don't make it abundantly clear that bastards in different geographic regions are given generic names. It's Snow in the North, Sand in Dorne, etc.

If you paid attention to what Ellaria Sand said in the last episode... she has thousands of brothers and sisters in Dorne. Also it could be noted that we still don't know who Jon Snow's mother is and if you noticed that Jon and Ramsey have the same dark hair and pallid skin.

But no, I don't believe that Jon and Ramsey are related. My "joke" was a reference to what Ellaria said.

Alright, missed the last two Fark Threads, but I'm all caught up (thank you HBO Go) and I won't be missing this one!

The producers have made it very clear that 2 books have been interlaced for the next 2 seasons to allow a more smooth character arc.

They also changed Jamies' character due to the fact the actor playing Ilyn Payne was dropped due to illness.

There has never been a book adaptation in history that was completely loyal to the book... NEVER EVER!

I'm expecting some full-frontal female nudity tonight to even out against the guy butt and floppy wiener last week..

"People... I have seen the finale of thousands of lives. Young, old, each one so sure of their realness. You know that their sensory experience constituted a unique individual with purpose and meaning. So certain that they were more than biological puppet. The truth wills out, and everybody sees. Once the strings are cut, all fall down."

Once they said the name I instantly realized what it was... It started off interesting but the trailer lost me half way through.

2% of the population vanished. Ooh, interesting. People doing... STUFF. Less interesting. Completely unthreatening cult people in white. Kay...

LEFTOVERS!

Oh it's a Rapture thing.

Also anything would be better than Left Behind.

It's based on a well reviewed book by the guy who wrote Little Children, so it has the potential to be a good show. Big downside: Damon Lindelof is producing, who manages to turn everything he touches into meh.

Wait, didn't they do crucifixion a week ago?

I assume you mean The Leftovers. I'm curious, particularly since Christopher Eccleston is involved, per IMDB.

So... Maybe the book readers can, I don't know, without SPOILING it, tell us why the hell every reader and watcher WOULDN'T just support Daenerys at this poin-

Oh... Crucifixions. Thats lovely.

Still not half as evil as damn near everyone else who wants the damn throne. Again I ask, why AREN'T I supposed to be rooting for her, and therefore, why do I care about anyone west of the narrow sea?

So... At this point Sansa is the eldest Stark, for all that matters. In essence it falls upon her to rebuild Winterfell, right? That'd be interesting...

Hunh. I didn't think they'd tell us who killed Joff so soon.

What would totally be a fun thing to have happen: Ramsey Bolton running into those cannibal Wildlings. Hilarity would ensue. Or Ramsey gives Reek a wooden cock prosthetic, only to have Reek turn on him and skull fark him to death with it. It's not so much that I think Ramsey was out of line in what he did to Theon, no, Theon pretty much had it coming, it's that he did it for other reason than that he's a less charming Joffrey.

Looks like Sansa's necklace fell into the wrong hands.

Technically I think since Bran and Rickon are still alive, it still goes through them.

And what is that guy doing at Winterfell?
