I wish my job was interesting enough to warrant mounting a GoPro on my head.

Here's the link to the YouTube page.

That way, you can click it up to full screen, unlike the crappy embedding of the news article (though I give them points for providing supplemental information, they lose points for the inability to full-screen the video)

Running Chrome on a mac.  Full screen worked fine.

This is what I get... Win7 x64, Chrome. Most of the time, embedded videos have the full screen control. The embedding code I use on my own website handles it fine, too.

USS Midway - access to the nuclear weapons storage area.  The Vet who was giving the tour... "if you approached the door and did not have your orders visible in your hand; once you stepped onto the yellow tiles around the door the Marine would draw his weapon.  If you stepped onto the red tiles, he will shoot you."

Both then and now... everything related to a Carrier is pretty badass - even if you are painting it!

The other Marine must be out of frame, because as an old Soldier who worked with nukes, I can tell you that "2-man control" is in place at ALL TIMES.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-man_rule

Geez, you had to be in the red zone to even read the warning sign.

The white zone is for the immediate loading and unloading of passengers, there is no stopping in the white zone

So a bunch of sites have recently disabled the full-screen control.

Is this really up to the sites?
Is this a YouTube bug?

It is truly annoying.

No bug but Chrome did the same for me too. Must be something in the embedded code Chrome didn't like. And yes it seems to be a recent change for many sites.

A radio station's site here in the DC area links youtube videos as well, places their commentary ahead of the video (ok, I can live with it for now) but something happens when you try to go full screen. The link is there but it defaults to 1/3 of the screen on the left side. F them with lots of sharp, pointy sticks.

There is no parking in the red zone.

GoPro?  Please, don't rub it in.

Yesterday I got to do two laps around Atlanta Motor Speedway on my touring bike and was downright upset when I took my GoPro off the charger and found the battery was mysteriously cooked.
