The only way the Rockets can stop Aldridge is if they sacrifice a bench player for the rest of the year, and have said bench player seriously injure LA with a hard foul.

I was listening to a podcast the the other day and the hosts mentioned how funny (not funny) this series must be for Rocket's brass.  They modeled their team on not taking mid-range jumpers because they are less efficient but are getting DESTROYED by a guy who plays his entire game in the mid-range.

I know they're not playing tonight, but I sincerely hope the Bobcats come back and whoop LeEgo & Company.  Therefore the statement "Jordan > LeBron" would absolutely be true.

I've enjoyed it.  While Portland has a nice array of three point shooters for LA to pass to, how McHale has not figured out that maybe just maybe you might want to occasionally double team a guy who is halfway to 40 points AGAIN is just beyond me.  I mean, I'm loving it, but holy shiat Rockets, change something about your defense.  ANYTHING.  He's making you guys look like fools!

I haven't been paying attention to this series. Have Houston fans started chanting "Beat LA! Beat LA" yet?

So who are we, as a collective group of dorky basketball fans, rooting to win the title this year.

With the Pacers shiatting the bed and revealing themselves to be total head cases, I am attaching my fandom to the Griz.  I havent seeing any Griz fans here on Fark so I am not worried about being called a bandwagon jumper.

I'm a Celtics fan, but I'm always on that Memphis bandwagon. They've got Tony Allen! What's not to love? I haven't rank-ordered the teams I'd like to see win a title but suffice it to say that the Rockets and Clippers are probably last on my list. This Blazers series has been delicious, especially the parts where Harden has been laying big fat turds all over the court.

Brooklyn, Washington and Portland. I think the home teams are finally going to sweep a night. I wonder about Portland though, since LMA has to cool down eventually. Right? Washington is gonna be rockin tonight. I am not sure about any of these though, I just hope for some fun games.

That's weird, I'm hoping the Heat win again so we can look forward to more butthurt from fools like you for another year.

And he'll have win as many consecutively as Jordan ever did! Even more butthurt to ensue!

/Jesus dude how can you even compare LeBron's and Jordan's ego with a straight face, Jordan is a farking hyper competitive alpha dog egomaniac...you know, all the things people biatched LeBron wasn't when he came in the league
//oh right, it's because you're one of the simpletons Nike convinced to worship His Airness
///Nyets, Bulls, Houston tonight...but who cares bring on more OKC-Memphis, that's an awesome series

Their lack of a true drive-and-dish PG really hurts them. Hill's a nice player but he's not that kind of PG, and asking George or Stephenson to be your primary ball handler/playmaker in a lot of situations just isn't the answer. Their half-court offense as it stands is so goddamn stagnant that players actually accumulate dust.

You think letting P. George being the ball up the floor and letting the offense start with him is an option?

Gunny Highway: You think letting P. George being the ball up the floor and letting the offense start with him is an option?

Not really. Of the handful of Pacers games I've seen (even when they were playing relatively well), it sure seemed half of their offensive sets were "fark it, George/Stephenson, just stand around the perimeter and make something happen" and that "something" was more times than not a contested shot.

Of course, in the early part of the season when both were shooting out of their minds, we didn't complain.

John Wall is currently on fire and if I know anything about basketball, it means that he will have unlimited turbo and increased shooting precision for the next few shots.

I'd be really surprised to see the Hawks get by the winner of the Bulls/Wizards. I still think the Pacers are going to beat them, but the Pacers could be in the middle of an epic meltdown.
