He's made the list. He can expect to be detained now anytime he passes TSA for the next 5 years whether they find anything or not in any of those detentions.

Don't get me wrong. In this case I think that's a good thing.

This. He'll ultimately be allowed in because he makes a lot of money for a lot of people, but every time he steps foot in an airport he'll get 'the nod'.

I don't get the hate for Justin Beiber. He's been a bit douchey lately, but it sounds like he may have a booze/drug problem. And he's what? 19? I did some stupid stuff at that age, too. Fact is, he puts on a great show. I like it when he dances around on stage. Talented young man. Sad that fake articles like this fuel all the misplaced Internet hate.

If the damn sheeple around us actually paid attention to his lyrics, they'd realize and appreciate the depth of his music. "Baby", the song that arguably started it all, is a beautifully subversive track critiquing the shallowness of online communities and the potentially disastrous effect it may have on our real-life relationships. The playfulness of the bridge has a disarming effect where...Mark, take off your robe....

You, my friend, are brilliant. Couldn't have said it better myself. He's a young Michael Bolton, but more edgy and cool.

I dunno how much of that stupid stuff you did on foreign soil, but when I was a dumb teenager doing the usual dumb teenager belligerent crap Canada politely shoved me back across the border and told me next time it'd be permanent (probably the cop bluffing in retrospect, but seemed serious enough at the time).  If I'd pushed it up to vehicular assault I doubt they'd have let it off with the by-mouth warning.

There's a certain tolerance for assholery in your home country because it  has to put up with you in a way.  That tolerance tends to go away rather quickly when you're a guest in someone else's nation.  For a more extreme example, look at how many nations won't issue visitors' visas to people convicted of certain crimes-- convicts have (theoretically) full mobility in their home nation after serving their time, but frequently aren't even allowed to enter other nations.

// This is actually not an "extreme example", now that I think about it, it's actually what Beiber is potentially looking at if that assault charge goes through to a conviction.  That's one of the few things that can revoke a O-1 visa outright if it happens in the states, if it happens in Canada it'll likely result in non-renewal.

I was never that big of an asshole at 19. I realize I don't have the unlimited resources he has, nor the lack of anyone there to tell him to cut the shiat but even if I did, I'd like to think I wouldn't be that big of a douche.

No need to do that. US Immigration can declare he is inadmissible to the US and put him on the first flight back to Canada.

At 19 I was serving in Desert Storm 1991. Justin had no real parental supervision while growing up... that doesn't excuse him acting like a douche bag. Cut the farkers eyes out, or cut off his limbs... and that will teach every douche bag not to act like a douche.

That escalated quickly coming soon...

jim32rr: 15 million illegals and they grab Bieber ..... Oh right

To be fair, it is said that most illegals are hard working and stay under the radar trying to make a living.  Bieber is anything but under the radar and apparently produces little now but felony and misdemeanor charges while coasting on his previous status of a heartthrob to young teenage and preteen girls.

jim32rr: 15 million illegals and they grab Bieber ..... Oh right

There are a lot of recent Spanish-speaking immigrants in my town, some legal, some not.  None of them dress like Bieber, or make a habit of peeing in mop buckets.  Given a choice between Bieber and a few dozen people who snuck across the border for the joy of working in a hog-processing plant, I'd choose the latter.

How about if we just send Bieber to Detroit. We can tape 100 dollar bills to his back and make him run down Gratiot Ave.
