Ozzy's vocals sound more nuanced and musical with the right backing.

Figured it was likely Andy Rehfeld before I even clicked.  His latest is another smooth jazz one - Holy Diver.  He does a lot of pop to metal conversions too.

Or Andy Rehfeldt, I almost had it right anyway.

Rehfeldt's "Killing In The Name (Less Angry Version)" by RATM is better IMO. The final chorus is hilarious.

I never would have figured Ozzy for an Adicts fan.

He is sort of hit and miss, though what do you expect of a competent musician who is probably depressed because he makes a living in studio work for groups such as PENTATONIX https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yU9wFVzZoE Behind The Scenes: PENTATONIX - Evolution Of Beyoncé

My funniest of his are polka versions such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlA3p_3oojU
Chris Brown Ft Busta Rhymes-Look At Me Now(Polka Version)

Though I also enjoy his death metal overdub of the Animals's "House of the Rising Sun",  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQYeDBn_VXU,  not for the substituted growling vocals but instead how he mutated the harmonies and transported the organ part and solo into music you would hear in fun house horror ride.

Well it is comedy of sorts, and to paraphrase what was said in a recent Monty Python thread, a 'hit' rate of even 25% in comedy is considered damn good.  They can't all be winners.

I hadn't seen that polka in a while, so thanks for the reminder.  Will check out the other link soonish.

Read that as Sweat Loaf and was like wow Butthole surfers for a Sunday afternoon.

I've always felt that sabbath was Jazz taken to 11. They have a sort of loose...everyone going their own way...feel to them at times.

I love a lot of the grooves from the ozzy days but as a band, I prefer the Dio version  or Heaven and Hell if you want to call them that.

Never a fan of Ozzy solo. A few songs here and there...but not a lot of them.

Fark yeah that was an awesome band live back in the day, who all remembers Tada the Shiat Lady?

Whatthefark: How about the Radio Disney version of Angel of Death?

That's pretty funny. :)
