I see the Jersey angry clown !

Go by it on the way to the train station in the morning and since it's in front of my liquor store I visit it again at night!

Turkey buzzards eating an armadillo's carcass on the road took off when I got close and dropped a big length of its intestines on my windshield with a big, loud "phthwap!"

I drive by this farking place on my way to work every morning.  Believe me, you don't even want to think about the ugly, weird, disturbing shiat that goes on inside that place every day.

That looks like the Florida Statehouse at the end of Appalachee Parkway.  A bit far away from NorCal...

Rain from the steam plume of a medium density fiber board plant hitting my car or me, if I am riding my bike.

I used to see one of these every day, but then I moved (plus the world didn't end).

I work by that place.  I can see it from my office window.

Then there's this, which I saw on my way to work one day:

It's weird enough walking past the White House every day (my office is a block away) without all the protesters out front adding to it. Apparently this lady has been there since 1981, because who needs a day job?

Sorry not the FL 'Old Capitol' at the end of the Parkway.  There is no median there.  And there are live oaks in front of the Capitol.  And a giant penile thing right behind it, don't forget that.

I take the bus 30 miles to work to save on parking and wear and tear on my vehicle. The only bizarre thing I see is a couple of morbidly obese people taking up a seat and a half. They don't help deferr the fat stereotypes when they eat McDonald's breakfast almsot everyday.

The lady with 4 garbage bags who transfers from one bus to another every morning.

I don;t THINK she's homeless as she gets on near where I live and there aren;t any shelters nearby.

Weird.

People on cell phones are why I installed a 139dB horn on my commuter motorcycle. I don't need to lean on the horn and be an asshole, but it's nice to fire off a couple beeps to say, "Hey, I'm here, maybe don't kill me today?"

"Please check your tags--many state capitol buildings do look alike!"

I can assure you, however, that the pic above is in fact of the California Capitol in Sacramento.

I don't technically have a commute, but between me and town is one of those fire and brimstone baptist churches.

"God is watching you and he knows your sins" and "Satan has reserved your place in hell" on huge billboards (bet the church can't hold more than 50 people).

Driving is a major part of my job (product recalls/retrievals). I see everything from homeless tents under the DC freeways to Amish kids driving horse and buggies over in Maryland. I love the job but there is nothing I have seen on the road that I recall as being overly unusual.
