Nobody tell the single-celled encephalitics over at The Consumerist that they sell bite-size Snickers all year round, too.

Mix it with peanuts. It's not bad.

"...And I, like an Alzheimer's patient, see it as though I'd never seen it before. 'Candy corn,' I say. 'Corn that tastes like candy. I can't wait... (eats one) SON OF A biatch!'"

One of Lew's best bits.

Is this something I should be mustering outrage over?  Given the source, signs point to "no".

I don't think I've had candy corn since my grandma died. She had a permanent supply.

I had no idea it was a Halloween only candy. Thanks for setting the record straight, Consumerist. More high quality reporting we've come to expect...

The worst thing about Halloween is, of course, candy corn. Candy corn is the only candy in the history of America that's never been advertised. And there's a reason -- all of the candy corn that was ever made was made in 1911.

Eat peanuts with the candy corn and it tastes like a Payday candy bar.

Other than that, candy corn is nasty.

Unfortunately for the Catholic Church, too many alter boys know exactly what is Jesus seed.

Gotta disagree with the Milk Duds/Robins Eggs. I don't eat a lot of them, but they are tasty. So is Werther's caramels.

I ate Skittles a few weeks ago for the first time in years. I couldn't finish the bag. They were nowhere near as good as I remember.

A local grocery chain has seasonal candy corn, for pretty much every holiday. I think it's "Reindeer corn" at Christmas. But it's made with sugar, not corn syrup, so it's actually pretty good. I don't usually buy any though, whatever the holiday.
