Next time the conductor will take the safe route and apply a baseball bat to the face.

Hmm...now this is beginning to seem like it was staged/fake.

Yea, I was expecting lawsuits. If he wants to make money off advertising I'm not gonna fault him.

It happened in Peru. Not sure if it the frivolous law suits work theme way there. They'd probably just toss him out of the country.

No.

This is based on theoretical dollars on a viral video that has a notoriously short lived shelf life. Kevin O'Leary who is a media behemoth and one of the members of Dragon's Den and is generally a dickhole, but is right on this count. He said this morning on CBC the popularity of this video will last another week until people move on to the next hot thing. He said "The best way to sustain popularity on YouTube is to serialize your program"

This is a one off. A fluke. And very very hard to monetize.

It's confounding, I know. But You Tube wants to pay him for advertising and licensing, unbelievable.

There was a series of shots that didn't show that piece of metal and someone said it was probably the phone merging frames since the train was moving fast and the phone couldn't capture all of the frames the way they really are.

Hope the railroad sues him for trespassing or something and gets every cent. My grandfather was a legendary railroad detective and my kin doesn't take kindly to folks who act stupid and disrespectful and be where they ain't supposed to be like this guy. You have any idea what kind of a clusterfark it makes in a schedule when some jackass like this inevitably gets plastered and the train has to stop in place and the line closes while the whole area gets roped off as a crime scene and the idiot's jackassery is forensically documented? How much money the railroad has to spend on lawyers to prove this idiot jackass deserves whatever happens to him?

He's lucky that was a boot and not an open steel door or some other iron protruberance that would have made for a video more appropriate for Ogrish. There's a reason you aren't allowed to be where that idiot was.

The incident occurred in Peru (Perurail). Probably not very lucrative to run a lawsuit there.

Better than here. Over the weekend, a woman on a bike wasn't paying attention, commuter train mashed her. Dead as a door nail.

No he wasn't, his foot is at least a foot outside of that metal, watch the gif, his leg goes straight back and doesn't hit that part, it goes further down the side of the train.

Kevin underestimates Fox's ability to create really dumb reality shows, such as "Ow! My Head"

If he got kicked in the head on a weekly basis, it would sell.   Same for the guy in the video.

By trying to convince some companies to pay you to recreate it on a commercial.

The metal loop that looks like would have missed him but was close enough that the conductor likely thought he was saving the kid from.
