If you read it for yourself, you might misinterpret it. Better to let someone on TV tell you what it says and means.

I feel a little better about the world knowing there are a million people who signed up to read about progressive stuff written in the past 20 years.  I've been a little annoyed at how old the progressive standbys are.

Heh - I remember that thread.  Looking at my photobucket album, I'm starting to think I have some issues.  Suggesting that people dress up like Jerry Sandusky for Christmas and chase children around probably isn't helping matters, either.

$1.17 million from thousands of small donors is substantively different from $30 million from two people.

Shortly after it replaced "Liberal" because that term already meant Filthy Dirty Communist.  And when left-leaning individuals come up with a new term to call themselves, it will shortly thereafter come to mean Dirty Filthy Communist.

No.  Stop the perpetuating of that nonsense.
A classic liberal is a liberal.  One who mostly leans libertarian but has some socialism to balance capitalism's problems.
A classic conservative is a conservative.   One who wants limited government intervention; but, also wants the law to include items from the judeo-christian moral structure.
A progressive is someone conservative or liberal who manipulates the law, courts, media and state to bring their world view to reality.  They are authoritarian douche bags.

be a commie, liberal, fundie, conservative.  Let the rest of us be.
A progressive does not let others be.
