Makes sense.  Eating and drinking are two of the most basic things humans and other animals do.  Farking is next on the list, but government-sanctioned monogamy is pretty far on the other end of Maslow's pyramid.

FTFA: the Coca-Cola product's label, which says "Pomegranate Blueberry Flavored Blend of 5 Juices," although the beverage is 99 percent grape and apple juice.

For all we know, it could be 98.5% grape juice and only 0.5% apple juice.

Here's an interesting rub: it is 99% composed of grape and apple in some blend, and yet there are THREE juices in the final sliver (plus a bunch of alphabet-soup additives).  All anyone is talking about is pomegranate and blueberry... nobody cares about the Raspberry.

As for subby's contention: this one made it to the docket first, and consumer/business protection against fraud is actually quite important as well as marriage equality.

False advertising is pretty serious,  subby, so yes, this is a big deal. Especially because this case is really about who can sue for false advertising; just the federal government, or also people.

Justice Anthony Kennedy suggested that Coke, which sells the drink under its Minute Maid division, "cheat(s)" consumers into thinking the product's primary ingredients are pomegranate and blueberry juices. If "Coca-cola stands behind this label as being fair to consumers, then I think you have a very difficult case to make," Kennedy told Kathleen Sullivan, an attorney representing Coke.
Sullivan replied that the Coca-cola company had no interest in being fair to customers, and "those peons will buy what we tell them to buy. And who are you to stop us? Some old geezers in robes? We own Congress, biatches. This will be the Coca-cola Supreme Court Building of Justice and Flavor by this time next year. Your robes will be in our trademark red and white."

Sorry, Raspberry was the flavor of the day about 15 years ago.

If you're going to sell a "______ Juice", make sure that it actually has that type of juice as it's majority. So sick of it being barely 2% with the rest being cheap filler like pear juice or HFCS if the company is REALLY being a bunch of cheap bastards.

Are you sure there's three extra juices, or just one?  IE, grape, apple, pomegranate, bluberry, and one more.

It's Coke. They don't know how to make a beverage that doesn't have HFCS in it

Not sure you always want that juice to be the majority. But it should be named as such.  Pure cranberry juice is a terrible thing.

That's essentially the same as what it already looks like though.

Yeah, its not for everyone... but its nice that you can mix it with soda water to your liking.  And it doesn't have all those crappy sugar substitutes.

Less false advertising than for ACA. Latest example was the 1000 doctors in California "accidentally" listed as participants.

The fact that it's listed in the smallest font on the label is mere coincidence, I'm sure.

True...but, also, how can it be labelled 100% juice if it has added ingredients?
