From what I've read, they just need more guns.

Today, tomorrow, the next day. Three days.

As you may have noticed, I didn't say 72 hours.

Nice to see there are still things you can count on.

Died on Friday, still dead Saturday, rose on Sunday (or since Passover fell on Friday the year Jesus was crucified, and that is a Sabbath, there were two Sabbath days in a row, meaning Jesus's crucifixion took place on Thursday afternoon - a Sabbath starts at sundown the night before - not Friday, and that he rose Saturday. A quibbling detail, but very interesting). In fact, I think it was discovered the stone to the tomb had been moved in the morning, which would put the time between death and resurrection at less than 48 hours.

Sunday, Bloody Sunday.

/followed by Bloody Monday, Bloody Tuesday...

Exactly. Three days. How is this unclear?

Here's a fun fact: In old English, depending upon where it landed, the word "day" comes from Old English "dæġ". When pluralized it became "Dagas" and pronounced with a hard "g" instead of the soft "ġ" ("ġ" shifted into Modern English "y").

Not enough.

To be fair, the weather was real nice this weekend.

2014-04-20 11:15:36 PM
Weekend seemed warmer than that. Expected 40's/teens at the least.

And to think, these are the cooked book numbers the Mayor and Police Chief release to make us feel that things are not as bad as they really are.

2014-04-20 11:22:13 PM
... and I thought my Chicago family gathering this weekend was awkward.   On a serious note, I've been living in and around Chicago most of my life and the whole rise in violence when the weather finally improves is really damn depressing.  It happens every year and it doesn't make it suck any less.  Chance The Rapper's song "Dear Chicago Summer" sums it up in all of its horrible glory.  Ugh.

and I would like to point out that this is what results when big cities are run exclusively by democrats for 40 years or more.

I'm guessing the Easter Bunny did it.

So a much higher body count than the latest incident at Fort Hood. When does President Obama come on TV to address the concerns of the nation?

That's Life is da city fo' y'all. So 'hood, so right. so deadly!

Thank God for their overly restrictive gun laws or there may be real violence in the streets.

/I'm so glad the left are keeping us safe.

But it does. It does indeed.  The 2nd Amendment is more or less a political line issue anymore.

Hippity hoppity all the way.

I'd love to see a comparison of number of deaths in Chicago on given weekend compared to Iraq, Afghanistan, or even Rio de Janeiro.

No. It just means today and tomorrow are two days.

Here, let's count them together.

1. Today
2. Tomorrow

See? Two days.

Why is this so difficult?!

Why do you do this? Can't you just comment on something without bringing up politics? Add something useful to a conversation, don't be "that guy".

Use of unnecessary violence in the apprehension of the Blues Brothers HAS been approved.

/Could have been hire that god Christians worship is pretty big on helping to slaughter cities and countries and once he flooded the world because that free will thing wasn't working out but , no probs his plan, LOL.
