SpectroBoy: physt: snowshovel: gas giant: Okay.. I'm sure Apple will be just THRILLED by this little endorsement.

Considering that the place where iphone are manufactured is a Republican paradise, I'm sure they are nodding their head in agreement. In fact I'm sure Apple would love to get rid of those pesky minimum wage laws that hamper their small business mentality at the Apple Stores.

You clearly don't know anything about Apple retail stores or manufacturing.  Hey, but don't let that stop you from pulling stuff out of your ass.

Apple's factories installed anti-suicide nets.

FoxConn manufactures for all the major computer companies.  How is that an Apple problem more than HP or Microsoft?

Didn't say it was. But _somebody_ was defending Apple as if they were above this sort of thing, and they are not.

My high school chums and I find Sen. Alexander's idea quite corking.

Well,

physt, for one.
Alphax: HeartBurnKid: Alphax: "Republicans want to enable and empower you. We want to be the iPhone party."

Enable and empower.. the opposite of what Republicans have done for decades.

Also the opposite of what Apple does, so it fits.

Not sure if serious..

Absolutely serious.  If you own an Apple product, you do things the Apple way, or you don't do them at all.  To be fair, the Apple way is often fairly well-designed and easy to understand, but there are certain things that Apple simply will not allow you to do, period.  And that, to me, is the opposite of empowerment.
