So let me get this straight.  A team that spends millions on injured position players and starting pitching, and thousands on relievers...doesn't have a good bullpen?  It's a good thing it's Easter, because I'm gonna need some time off to think about this shocking revelation.

The pen is/will be fine.  Matt Daley was called up as a mop up man.  They pitched Betances who was OK but  then had Anna pitch instead of using another reliever they will need today (Due to the rainout Tuesday its a bullpen game today with Nuno starting.   If Nova didn't get hurt it looked like they were perfectly willing to leave him out there.

Nova needs Tommy John. Were elbows always this weak?

I'm glad I ignored ESPN telling me that Longoria was sitting out yesterday's game and started him on my fantasy team anyway, since he was terrific.

Guess I rooted a little too hard for the Rays to beat the Skankees.

I heard Nova got something twisted in da arm. I'd use that excuse too.

/Go O's.

" Archer permitted just three hits, touched only by Kelly Johnson's run-scoring double in the fifth inning."

So his pitches were nowhere near.....the Danger Zone.

Early-90s Score cards are an excellent example of why you should never let a color wheel fall into the wrong hands.

I don't which is worse, that they had to turn to an infielder to pitch relief or that the guy's last name is Anna.

Doesn't Jeter always take it on the chin?

WTF Indeed: Nova needs Tommy John. Were elbows always this weak?

Nope, elbows haven't gotten weaker, pitching mechanics have gotten worse combined with insisting everyone try to throw 100 mph.

The only thing I love more than seeing an AL pitcher bat in an AL game is seeing a position player pitch. It's just fun.

This happened a couple years ago too. Nick Swisher was called in from right field to pitch. He did well, but had to suppress his goofy smile because it was a blow out.
