Why can't we have a real miracle? Such as all the billionaires of the world start paying people enough to live on, along with full health and a retirement pension. Or how about Rural Republicans stop being afraid of things they don't understand and vote for things that helps them instead of voting against their own interests. Maybe we can have a miracle where hospitals don't overcharge on services and insurance companies don't try to cheat people in any legal way they can. In short, can we have a miracle where humans can start acting in a humane manner towards each other that doesn't include greed?

Jesus Christ is everywhere during Holy Week, but one Orlando woman thought she was going crazy when she saw his image in the bark of a dead tree in her front yard.

Always go with your first gut instinct.

I'm not really sure if I believe in a god or not.  The older I get, the more jaded I've become.  One thing I know for sure is this.  If my god lets little kids die of cancer and boatloads of people drown on a ferry because he's too busy putting selfies on a piece of toast or tree bark - I'd probably keep searching for a suitable god.

People see faces in woodgrain, bunnies in clouds, and we think nothing of it. It's a funny coincidence, an artifact of the brains mechanics.

But as soon as someone thinks it looks like a religious figure or symbol, people think it means something significant and that it's newsworthy.

It's really infuriating how absent of self awareness some people are. If it looked like a cat, or an airplane, you'd shrug it off and forget about it. But since you think it looks like Jesus, you think it's newsworthy and a sign from God? You literally think God is speaking to you through vague, iconic images? Kind of a step down from the talking burning bush, don't you think? God has gotten farking lazy, I guess. Or maybe it's just that you're a twat who doesn't deserve to be operating the fine machine that is the human brain.

I may be in a foul mood from a migraine.

Ambivalence: Why do people always assume these random face like visages are Jesus? Why doesn't anyone ever see elvis on their toast or scorched into their walls?

Jesus was seen on a bus station wall once, but it turned out to be a painted-over posted of Willie Nelson.
