milkyshirt: As a fan of the Hannibal Lecter character, I've had two questions. Is this show good, and if it is, will it not get cancelled too early? Enough time has passed to determine this show is worth watching. Is it safe enough at this point to get invested in it?

This show is very, very good. At least invest in these two seasons; not every show needs to last longer than the war it was depicting.

Memes Ate My Balls: Summoner101: I like and don't like how the show mingles with the books and movies.  I've been watching under the assumption that anyone alive during the movies will survive, but that may not be the case.

One minor character from Red Dragon has been axed in the series.

Unless they explain away a shot to the neck, Dr. Chilton isn't a very minor character.

/I feel so bad for that guy
//the fictional one, anyway

Mugato: Hannibal is great. I can't believe it's on NBC.

arekthorn: Hannibal is easily one of the top 3 shows on TV in the last few years.  The style, music, writing, & acting is just all so perfect.  How/why is it on NBC?

The violence is beyond cable, but they had a freaking sex scene yesterday. We're an F-bomb and nipple away from HBO, people.
